Bird and Blooms Birthday Card

Hey there!

Today I'm sharing what I call a bird and blooms birthday card project I created using a variety of die sets from  Dies R Us on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.

I chose some metallic and glitter card stock and a coordinating print and white.

I knew I wanted to put a rectangular frame on the card and chose some dies that
I thought would work well for my design.

I added the frame I created by using 2 rectangular dies.

Next I started arranging the flowers and leaves on the frame.

I decided I needed to add a little more color so cut the corner die
I used again out of the metallic paper and cut apart pieces to add.
I basically cut out the holly leaves, as this is a Christmas themed die
and my card is not. Just an example of how to use parts of die cuts
rather than the whole thing, which will make your dies go farther.

I also layered the Happy Birthday dies for a little more color and dimension.

This is the finished product.

I hope I've provided some inspiration for you to
play and create with your dies and we'd love for you
to come and join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.
There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.
For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.
