Masculine Layout

Hi there!
I'm over on the CutCardStock Creative Blog today with a 12 x 12 masculine scrapbook layout
using Basis Card Stock, which you can find on special this month at CutCardStock!
I created this layout with a photo of one of my nephews who just graduated from high school.
My sister shared this photo of him and I knew I had to use it for a masculine layout.

I pulled out some of my card stocks that coordinate with the colors in the photo:

Patterned paper from Recollections

I did some die cutting and also chose a stamp to use as part of my title.

I cut a rectangular piece of the patterned paper and navy card stock, hand cut the 3 banners and embossed the top of the olive banner.

I created my base by layering the Blast Off Blue with the Basis White card stock. The 2 rectangular pieces were added and my stamping done.

Father's Day Card

Hi there! It's Judy here with a Father's Day Card project using Basis Cardstocks from CutCardStockwhich are on sale this month.

It's not very often that I create masculine themed projects. Father's Day will be here before we know it and I had the perfect digital to use as a focal on a card and my husband loves fishing!

I printed the digital from Power Poppy on BASIS WHITE 80LB CARDSTOCKand colored with Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils. I also used it for the 5 x 7 inch card base. I chose 3 more solid Basis Card Stocks, BASIS NAVY 80LB CARDSTOCKBASIS OLIVE 80LB CARDSTOCKBASIS LIGHT BLUE 80LB CARDSTOCK. The patterned paper is from my stash.

I die cut the fish image and the sentiment.

I cut a piece of olive card stock to 5 x 7 and adhered to my card base. I layered a 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 inch piece of navy card and a 4 5/8 x 6 5/8 inch piece of light blue card. The patterned paper was cut to a rectangle and matted with navy. The oval matting was adhered over the patterned paper and I added mesh ribbon for some texture.

The pieces put together above were glued to the card base and the colored digi was added. Lastly I hand cut 2 banners, glued to the card and added the sentiment.

I hope I've given you a little inspiration with my masculine card!
