SSD at Creative Knockouts

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the new challenge at
Creative Knockouts.

The theme is "Dry Embossing".
I used one of Lindsay's newest zodiac images for my creation.

"Cancer Portrait"

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers before fussy cutting
and popping on the embossed panel which was
created with a Darice embossing folder.
The DP and enamel dots are from Teresa Collins.
I stamped the sentiment a cut with a Taylored Expressions die.

I hope you'll check out this image and the others available in the store at
Sassy Studio Designs.
Oh, and be sure to check out the challenge at

Effie Trinket Sassy

Hello all!
It's time for another Sassy Studio Designs sponsorship.

We are sponsoring the "Bingo" challenge at

I went with Ribbon, Image, Pearls to create this card using
"Effie Trinket Sassy".

I colored Effie with metallic markers and gel pens.
She was fussy cut and popped on an embossed panel with foam dots.
The DP is from DCWV's Violet Leaf stack.
My sentiment was computer generated and cut with
Sizzix dies. The pearls are Recollections and I had the ribbon in my stash.

Hope you join in the challenge and don't forget to check out
"Effie Trinket Sassy" and all the other fabulous images available at

So pull out your die cuts of any kind;
precut, electronically cut, manually cut, any kind of die cut!

Our sponsors this week are:

Prize: 2 Digital Images

Prize: $10 Gift Certficate

My card uses precut die cuts that came with an Artful Card kit
from Hot Off the Press. These kits are great as they come with
the die cuts and matching papers.
I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.
One large die cut label is backing the image and I added the
rose and flourish die cuts. The sentiment is 4 separate die cuts
included on the die cut sheet in the kit which I backed with one
of the printed papers included.

Creative Craft Cottage - Anything Goes

It's that time again!
Time for a new challenge at
This time around we have an Anything Goes theme.

Using "Poodle Skirt" from

This fortnight's Sponsor

The prize for the lucky winner of this challenge
is 4 Digi Images of your choice from Karleigh Sue.

Love this cute image!
I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.
The background panel was embossed with
embossing folder from Paper Wishes. I die cut 2 circles with Sizzix dies
before stamping with an Inspired by Stamping
sentiment stamp and placed in the center of the embossed panel.
The ribbon and bow were added before
"popping" the image with foam dots.
The tiny flowers were punch with a Marvy punch,
randomly added and finished off with tiny pearls.

We can't wait to see your Anything Goes creations at
Creative Craft Cottage.

CGC Christmas in July

It's Wednesday and that means another new challenge at
Crafty Gals Corner!

"Christmas in July"

Using "Christmas Shopping"

Our sponsor this week is:

Prize: 3 Digital Images

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir, fussy cut and popped on
some die cut ovals cut with Sizzix framelits as were the banners.
I seem to be in a mode where I'm stepping away from using traditional
Christmas colors. I kept some red but added in
some pink and sort of a minty green.
My DP is from Recollections, as are the poinsettias and sentiment sticker.

We can't wait to see what you come up with and show us over at

1 Button & 1 Bow

Happy Friday!
It's a happy Friday for me! I took the day off work!

Create a card using 1 button & 1 bow.

Here's what I came up with.

Using Pretty Little Sailor
from our sponsor this time,

I love this image!
She was colored with Spectrum Noir markers, fussy cut
and popped on the ovals cut with Sizzix dies.
The DP is from Carta Bella's "Ahoy There" 6x6 paper pad.
I layered the flower button on 2 flowers punched with a Recollections punch.

Under the Sea

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun challenge at

This week we would love to see your creations with an
"Under the Sea" theme!

 Our sponsor this week is

                                                 Sweet Pea Stamps

                                             Prize: $20 Gift Certificate

Using Teresa Sherman's Marina

I really loved working with this image.
She was colored with Spectrum Noir markers and gel pens.
The frame was cut with some old Sizzix originals dies.
I placed the frame on top of the printed DP, which I have had
so long I can't even tell you what it is or where it came from,
but I had 2 sheets and cut some of the fish out of the 2nd sheet and
popped with foam dots on top of the 1st sheet on over the frame
for a little dimension. The mesh is from Offray and was
kind of an after thought. You know what I mean?
I looked at what I thought was the finished product
and then remembered I had this and thought it would work well.
The bling I added is from Recollections.
Now take a look at what the rest of the DT
came up with and then link up your own creation with us at
