Spring Decor Shadow Box

I am sooo ready for spring! How about you? Hey there! Today I'm sharing a Spring Decor Shadow Box Project created with products from CutCardStock.

If I can’t have spring weather outside, I can at least decorate for it inside.

Materials:

12 3/4 x 12 3/4 x 1 1/2 inch Wood Tray Various Stamps and Dies Pencil colors and markers Patterned Papers and Solid Card Stock Glitter Dots and Gems Double Sided Adhesive Tape, Foam Tape and Liquid Glue

I started with the wood tray that has 5 sections, but a regular shadow box can be used with a card stock base sectioned off.

A double sided patterned paper was chosen to coordinate with Curious MetallicVIOLETTE 8.5×11 Cardstock and Bazzill Linen Texture 8.5×11 LAVENDER Twilight 65lb Cardstock.

These were cut to line each section of the tray. No adhering done yet.

Stamping, die cutting and coloring came next, using Curious Metallic Cryogen White 89 lb 8.5x 11 Card Stock. This is a nice and sturdy card stock with just a hint of shimmer.

The die cut pieces above were layed out on each section of card stock to decide on placement. More pieces were needed to fill in bare spots, so little more die cutting and coloring was done with  Curious Metallic Cryogen White 89 lb 8.5x 11 Card Stock and Basis 8.5×11 OLIVE 80lb Cardstock.

Pieces were adhered to the 4 main sections.

A few finishing pieces were added to complete.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my project and we invite you to connect with us over on the CutCardStock FaceBook Page!
