Witch Wreath

I found this great "Witch Wreath" image at
and just had to use it to get another Halloween card made!

I printed the image on white card stock, colored with
markers, cut it in a circle shape and framed it with
a die cut from a Lifestyle Crafts Eyelet Circle die.

The sketch is from the current challenge at
retrosketches

and the color combo is the current challenge at
colourQ.

Spooky Cat

I think I'm on a roll with making these Halloween cards.
I kinda started them late and now it's like a marathon for me
to get a few more done before Friday.

This one was done with the current sketch at
Freshly Made Sketches as my inspiration.

The cat image was stamped with a set from hampton art
and colored with markers.
I used a Paper Studio embossing folder.
The spiders were found in the button department at Walmart
and the "spook" sentiment is a Recollections sticker
that I framed with a Sizzix die cut.

Atypical Halloween

I created a card this afternoon that many would not consider a
Halloween card but that's what I'm calling it.
It's orange and black. Those are typical
Halloween colors, right?
The inspiration was taken from 2 challenges.

The sketch came from
Tuesday Morning Sketches.

The challenge at
Just Us Girls
has a photo to use for inspiration.

I cut the pumpkin from a Cricut Solutions cartridge called
October 31st
and the flower is a K&Company layered accent.
The glitter paper is from the Paper Studio
Eat Cake paper pack.
I stamped the greeting with a Recollections stamp
and die cut with a Taylored Expressions label die.
The finishing touch was the addition of the enamel dots.

Halloween Kitty

I love making Halloween cards!
How about you?

This one was made with the challenge to use purple, orange plus
one other color at Die Cuttin Divas as my inspiration.
I elected to add green.
The kitten image is a free digital from
Beary Wishes which I colored with brush markers
and pencil colors and then fussy cut.
All the die cuts I used are from Sizzix:
Circle Framelits
Scallop Circle Framelits
Banners 2
Stephanie Barnard Borders
The white panel was embossed with a Paper Studio folder and
the "BOO" greeting was done with letter stickers.
I added the flower button which came from Wal-Mart
with bakers twine from Darice.

Christmas in Pink

I've really been slacking in my Christmas card production here lately.
I told myself in January I was going to get at least one made per week,
but have missed several weeks.
So I saw that the challenge at Jingle Bells this week to to make
a pink Christmas card and I love pink Christmas cards.

Here's what I came up with.

I used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

The snowman was stamped with
Inkadinkado's Ornate Christmas stamp set,
embossed, colored with a Spectrum Noir marker and fussy cut.
I used embossing folders from Darice and The Paper Studio.
The printed papers are from
My Mind's Eye Merry Little Chistmas paper pad and
the glitter paper is DCWV.
I finished with some gems from Recollections and
a greeting sticker from Stickabilities.

HOC October Challenge

It's October so that means a new challenge at
House of Cards!
This month the challenge is to use
a punch / die or both.
I decided to use both and created this Halloween card.

I pulled out the old Cricut machine with the Wrap it Up cartridge to die cut the witch.
Here's a close-up to show the 4 layers used to create her
starting with the purple, black, green then orange.

The ovals were cut with Sizzix framelits dies and
I used the EK Success Acanthus border punch.
The papers used are from DCWV and Recollections.
I finished with Enamel dot stickers and the 31st sticker
which are from Recollections.

So, go on over to
House of Cards
and see what the rest of the design team came up with
and then link up your own creation.
