Hi crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing this sweet and sparkly birthday card created with Princess Molly with Balloon from Conie Fong Art & Design. Isn’t she just the cutest little birthday princess?
I colored this darling image with Prismacolor pencils, blending soft browns for her hair and lots of vibrant purples and pinks for her dress to give it a fun, party-ready look. The purple balloon ties perfectly into the color palette and adds to the celebratory feel.
For the background, I kept things elegant with an embossed white panel to add subtle texture without taking attention away from the focal image. A glittery purple frame and coordinating cardstock mat give the card that extra sparkle fit for a princess! I finished it off with a few pieces of confetti embellishments and a shiny “Celebrate” sentiment to complete the festive look.
This card would be perfect for a little girl’s birthday or anyone who loves a touch of sparkle and purple magic.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the beautiful digital stamps from Conie Fong Art & Design for your next crafty project.

Sliding By Happy Birthday
Just sliding by to wish you a happy birthday! Hey there! It’s Judy V here with a fun winter birthday card. It features one of the cute little penguins from the Sliding By Stamp and Die Bundle by Pajama Crafter Stamps.
Card Inspiration
The inspiration for this card comes from Craft Roulette Episode #305. If you are not familiar with Craft Roulette, a spin of a wheel determines 4 parameters to use for creating a card..
The parameters for my card are

A joyfold card is easy enough, right? It is a type of interactive card that features two distinct opening flaps. Typically, a smaller card nests inside a larger card base for this type of card. The smaller card opening folds over the front of the larger card.
Cartoon colors can be just about anything. I pulled my colors from Donald duck.
My “I” element includes the ice skating penguin and I’m adding an igloo for good measure.
And as far as scraps, the patterned papers and vellum I used were all sitting on my desk left over from other projects.
Creating the Base
My card measures 5 x 6 1/2 inches. And, it opens a little differently than most joyfold cards. This may have been intentional or not!?!?!
Cut a 10 x 6 1/2 inch piece of cardstock. Score and fold at 5 inches along the 10 inch side. With the fold on the bottom, open the card and cut diagonally from the lower left corner up to the fold line on the right.
Next, cut a piece of patterned paper to 4 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches. Adhere to the inside of the card base.
For the outer or top flap, cut another piece of patterned paper to 4 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches. Cut diagonally and adhere.
To create the smaller card, cut cardstock to 4 14 x 8 1/2 inches. Score and fold at 4 1/4 inches along the 8 1/2 inch side. Cut a piece of white cardstock 4 x 4 inches and adhere to the bottom half. The fold should be on top.
Add the smaller card to the inside of the larger card. I die cut 3 banners with the Banner Die Set. Adhere the banners beneath the smaller card.
The lower flap of the larger card will fold up over the bottom of the smaller card.
Finishing
Add the decorative elements to the front of the small card to complete.
I stamped the skating penguin from the Sliding By Stamps, colored and cut.
Emboss an igloo onto a piece of white card stock. Add a little blue ink over the raised areas.
Trim down to 4 x 4 inches and adhere to the front of the small card.
Adhere a blue vellum scrap below the igloo.
Add the penguin with foam tape.
Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Forever 29 Cake Stamps. Fussy cut and adhere to card.
Add Boyfriend Blue Rhinestone Mix Embellishments randomly to complete.
I hope this sliding by happy birthday card project inspires you to try a joy fold card and create your own winter scene with Pajama Crafter Stamps!

Zoo Adventure Mini Album
Now for the fun part—decorating!
Keep embellishments mostly flat so the album closes easily.
Add book rings to bind the album.
Add wooden beads for extra texture and visual interest, then tie the ribbon securely. Trim the ends at an angle or leave them long for a whimsical finish.

A piece of Cougar White Smooth CardStock is cut to 5 1/8 x 8 1/8 for the background.
Building the Male Figure
Stamp the full male figure on DCS Smooth Sand Castle Tan Cardstock. To paper piece the image, stamp hair and clothing in different colors.

Guitar pieces are cut with DCS Smooth Sand Castle Tan Cardstock
DCS Canvas Textured Ginger Snap Cardstock

Adhere the music staff to the white background panel, trimming the edges.
Add the white panel to the blue mat.
