Who says pigs can’t be stylish?

Sharing a fun card today featuring the adorable Hog Your Shine stamp set from

Pajama Crafter Stamps!

I paired this cutie with the Circle Peek-a-Boo Die, Scalloped Border Die, 

Fancy Corners, and cheerful patterns from the Spring Plaids Paper Pad. 

The perfect combination for showcasing the punny sentiment: “Sow What’s New?” 

In addition to the Pajama Crafter Stamps products used, 

I colored with Prismacolor pencils.

Heat embossed the sentiment.

Inked the top portion of the background and

used a frame die from Scrapbook.com.

Solid cardstocks are from CutCardStock.

Inspiration, once again, came from parameters from Craft Roulette.

Craft Roulette Inspired Card | Pajama Crafter Stamps Date Night

Happy Monday!

Sharing my latest creation today, once again, inspired by Craft Roulette.

I think I've become obsessed with making cards each week with

inspiration from the parameters chosen by the spin of a wheel!

They are often items I would never have thought of putting together and

I love it because it really makes me think outside the box.

Something that I think all of us as crafters need, at least every once in a while.

Here's my project created with products from

Pajama Crafter Stamps.

The parameters for Episode #331

My project is a 4 x 8 inch side folding card.

The colors I used are exciting, in my mind as they come from

the stripes on the patterned paper I used from

Birthday Bash 6 x 6 Paper Pack.

Element cold or chilly is fulfilled by the cold drink which is

part of my focal image from Date Night Stamps.

Random parameter, stitches, is found in my white stitched circle die cut.

All parameters met! Mission accomplished!

The other items on my card, the 2 sentiments, film and ticket images

are also from the Date Night Stamps.

I also used 2 dies  from Pajama Crafter Stamps,

Circle Peek A Boo Die & Banner Die Set.

All the stamped images were colored with Ohuhu markers and fussy cut.

Think Outside the Die

Who says die cuts have to be used the way they were intended?

For this card project, I'm giving die cuts a creative twist and using them in a completely non-traditional way to add a unique design element to my card. The overall design is inspired by Craft Roulette Episode #330 and

uses products from Pajama Crafter Stamps.

The parameters used are:

Project:  I created a card in the shape of a tag.  

The pocket is on the center of the card and

is a great place to add a gift card or note.

Colors:  orange, black, pink and a little green

Element:  I made my robot with 2 die sets that are really used in a cteative way

Random:  I added 3 strips of paper to the pocket.

Not All Super Heroes Wear Capes | A Craft Roulette Inspired Card

Hey there!

Sharing a card today inspired by the creative parameters from 

Craft Roulette Episode #329.

I created a fun and heartfelt book binding card that celebrates everyday heroes. 

This design features the doctor image from the 

Saving Lives One At A Time stamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps 

paired with a patterned paper from the Spring Plaids Paper Pack and

 a coordinating flashcard from the Hero Hotline Flashcards collection.

The book binding card design provides plenty of space to showcase the focal image 

while adding dimension and interest to the overall layout. 

The doctor image and flashcard were carefully colored with Prismacolor pencils, 

allowing for rich shading and vibrant details that bring the images to life.

To complement the medical theme, I chose the sentiment,

"Not all super heroes wear capes." 

It's a meaningful reminder of the dedication, compassion, and 

hard work shown by healthcare professionals every day. 

The hero-themed flashcard ties everything together and 

reinforces the message of appreciation.

 

The combination of detailed pencil coloring, layered design, 

and inspiring sentiment makes this card perfect for 

thanking a healthcare worker, celebrating a medical professional, or 

simply recognizing someone who makes a difference in the lives of others.

Believe in the Adventure: A Craft Roulette Inspired Encouragement Card

Sharing a card today created with Pajama Crafter Stamps using inspiration from Craft Roulette.

 Craft Roulette always provides a fun creative challenge, 

and this card was created with the parameters from Episode #328. 

Project | My card is a top folding A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches)

Colors | Tutti Fruiti - pink, green, yellow, orange, blue

Element | Container - suit of armor (a container protects something, which the armor does!)

Random | Unusual Color - bright pink armor

All parameters met!

I wanted to create a scene that felt both adventurous and encouraging, 

resulting in a card that celebrates courage, strength, and the journey ahead.

The focal point features the image from the Unstoppable Stamps set 

paired with the beautiful castle from the Greatest Treasure Stamps set. 

The castle creates a magical destination while the character in the foreground brings the scene to life, inviting the recipient to dream big and embrace new adventures.

To create a bright and uplifting background, I used the Sunburst Stencil to add rays of sunshine across the sky. The radiating design helps draw attention to the focal images and adds a sense of energy and optimism to the card.

The landscape was created using the Stitched Scalloped Border Die. 

By layering several die-cut hills, I was able to add depth and dimension. 

I added a brick embossed wall created with and embossing folder from my stash.

For the sentiment, I chose "Free spirit. Brave heart. Strong soul." from the Flower Child Stamps set. The message perfectly captures the adventurous feel of the card and 

serves as a powerful reminder to embrace life's journey with confidence and courage.

I love how the layered hills, bright sunburst background, and inspiring sentiment come together to tell a story of determination and possibility. This card would be perfect for encouraging a friend, celebrating a milestone, or reminding someone special just how strong they truly are.

I made an shaker card for the Interactive Card

My summer colors are several shades of pink.

This is a wedding card which satisfies the "Here Comes the Bride" parameter.

Ink edging was done on the background layers and the flower edges.

The cake and floral images were colored with Ohuhu markers and fussy cut.

All of the the roses are from the Lovely Bouquet stamps which I cut apart.

The sentiment was heat embossed.

My card measures 5 x 6 1/2 inches, which is my favorite card size to create.

Card challenges are so fun!

Top 3 at Word Art Wednesday

Craft Roulette Inspired Belated Birthday Card

Sometimes the best creative ideas come from a fun challenge! 

Today's card was inspired by the parameters from 

Craft Roulette Episode #326, 

which encouraged me to mix a playful image with 

bold layers for a lighthearted belated birthday design.

I used products from

Pajama Crafter Stamps.

I started with a striped paper from the Savanna Neutrals Paper Pad for my background. 

A check paper from the Vintage Americana Paper Pack was cut with 

one of the dies from the Banner Die Set.

The colors of these papers and the solid card stock I've used meet

the "sleigh ride" colors parameter.

For the focal point, I stamped, colored and fussy cut 

one of the images from the Food Coma Ready Stamps.

The image is a turkey, so the "farm critter" parameter is met.

 The oversized greeting was created with the Dang, Whoa Yikes! Word and Shadow Dies, 

making the sentiment the star of the card. I drew stitching onto the letters

with a fine brown felt pen to meet the "pen" parameter.

I finished the card off with the stamped phrase, 

"I'm Sorry I Missed Your Birthday," 

for a playful apology that's sure to bring a smile.

The overall design and products used definitely are more along masculine lines,

so the "dude's card" parameter is met.

Craft Roulette challenges are always a great way to stretch your creativity, 

and this combination of products came together to create 

a cheerful belated birthday card that's both fun and memorable.

Let Freedom Ring Card

Happy Wednesday! 

And a new month too!

With the United States celebrating 250 years in a few days I

am sharing a patriotic card created with inspiration from 

the latest episode of Craft Roulette.

And, I just had to use a cute stamp set from

Pajama Crafter Stamps,

Yankee Doodle Day Stamps

CR parameters for Episode #325 

So, I think there are many forms of "Flip Fold" cards and mine

seems to be a little different than most I've seen in the gallery

for this episdoe. This one is an accordion fold card, 

but the panels do flip when opening the card.

The card base was die cut with Create-A-Card dies from Crafter's Companion.

I used red and blue as my Tartan colors.

My "Have a Yankee Doodle Day" sentiment does

include a measurement of time (day) to meet the

element parameter, but I included a clock that was  cut

from an embossed panel. for good measure.

For the Add a Bow parameter I drew little bow ties on my characters!

There you have it, a fun little patriotic card.

We're Meant to Bee! | Mixing Card Making Techniques

Happy Monday!

I'm starting out this week with a card I created for my 

Craft Roulette Episode #324 submission.

All products used are from from Pajama Crafter Stamps, except the solid card stocks and inks.

 I had so much fun putting this card together using several techniques.

To start, I had the parameters to meet.

Easel project is easy enough. I enjoy making easel cards!

The colors are easy. Endless really!

But I wasn't quite sure what to do with table & bug(s) or inscrts.

So I perused my Pajama Crafter Stamps supplies and a light bulb went off!!!

I would create an outdoor scene with the 2 bears from

Bruno Bee Keeper Stamps!

This set also has bees, of course, so the insect parameter is met.

And, it's fairly easy to make a table out of cardstock, right?

So, with a plan in mind, I got to work!

I stamped the bears, bees, flowers and honey pot and jar from the stamp set,

colored them up with pencils and fussy cut.

Now, to create my scene, I first die cut the background panel out of

white cardstock and a layering panel in yellow.

The Sunburst Stencil is great to use for an outdoor scene, so

I stenciled the upper right corner with yellow and blue.

The rest of the sky was filled in with blue as well.

I added green inking to the bottom.

 Awesome Sauce was used to help with smooth blending.

I had a left over piece of patterned paper from the

Spring Plaids Paper Pad that I used as a mat for my die cut background.

And, I thought it would make a great table cloth for my table.

That piece was cut with an oval die on the lower edge and 

all I had to do was add some card stock strips for legs.

I also had a piece of left over patterned paper from 

Savanna Neutrals Paper Pad and decided to dress the bears in outfits with it.

I put my little table scene together beneath the sun and added bees and flowers.

For the easel card stopper, I stamped the "Happy Anniverary" sentiment from

Mix & Match Celebration Sentiments and die cut with Banner Die Set.

The banner was layered with a solid strip of card stock and a patterned paper strip.

Dimension was achieved with foam tape.

I also added a decorative element cut with the Scalloped Circle Die.

So, I used stamping, coloring, die cutting, stenciling, inking and paper piecing

all together with the Craft Roulette parameters for this one of a kind card!

Hippo Hooray! A Craft Roulette Inspired Card

Hey there!

Today I'm sharing a fun and cheerful card featuring the adorable 

Hippo Hooray Stamps from Pajama Crafter Stamps. 

For this design, I turned to the parameters from Craft Roulette Episode #323 for inspiration and challenged myself to incorporate each element into my project.

The 3 hippo images from the stamp set were stamped, 

colored, fussy cut and became the focal points of the card. 

I paired them with coordinating papers and layers that 

reflected the Craft Roulette parameters while

 keeping the overall design bright and playful. 

My card measures 5 x 7 inches to meet the A7 Project parameter.

The cards Pretty Colors are Seafoam green, browns and pinks.

For the Photo Booth Element parameter, each hippo is showcased in their own photo.

One of the background papers has cameras on it.

Each photo is edged with a film strip look create with a stamp from

 Pajama Crafter Stamps Date Night.

The Geometric Shape(s) parameter is met by the patterned papers

being cut triangularly. The hippo photos are rectangular.

Other Pajama Crafter Steps products used on this card include

Savanna Neutrals Paper Pad & Banner Die Set.

One of my favorite things about Craft Roulette is how it encourages creativity and 

pushes me to try new combinations I might not normally choose. 

The Hippo Hooray Stamps were the perfect choice for bringing this challenge card to life 

with its charming images and uplifting sentiments.

Gatefold, Monet Colors, Natural & Crinkle Inkle Inspired Card | Pajama Crafter Stamps

 Hey there!

I'm playing along with Craft Roulette once again.

And, I've used products from Pajama Crafter Stamps.

Why, because it's just too easy to create with

the variety of products they offer!

Here's my card.

Craft 

Roulette Episode #321 Parameters

My card measures 5 x 6 1/2 inches.

The base is scored at 2 1/2 & 7 1/2 inches along the 10 inch side,

which gives a center opening.

So project parameter which is Gatefold is met.

My focal is a flower image, so the Natural parameter is met.

Colors used are purple, pinks and aqua.

Classsic Monet colors in my opinion, so colors parameters met.

The background on the top portion of the card was created by

inking with a piece of crumpled up bubble wrap.

That meets the random parameter, Crinkle Inkle.

This is a term Craft Roulette describes as 

crinkling up something and using inks to add color.

My focal and sentiments were stamped from the

Together stamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps.

I colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

It is popped onto a layered circle die cut comprised of 

Circle Peek A Boo Die also from Pajama Crafter Stamps

and a stitched circle die cut.

The circle is adhered to the left front panel.

I added embossed panels on the bottom portion of the card.
