Falled Themed Mixed Media Tags

Fall is the perfect season for creating richly layered mixed media projects, and these tags are filled with warm autumn colors, beautiful textures, and plenty of dimension.

By combining Clear Scraps Chipboard Angle Tags, Vintage Frames Chipboard Embellishments, and the 6″ Swirl Stencil with printed clip art, it’s easy to create one-of-a-kind tags that are perfect for gift packaging, junk journals, seasonal décor, or even framed as miniature works of art.

Begin by covering each Chipboard Angle Tag with solid color cardstock.

Apply acrylic paint randomly to the cardstock for some texture.

Place the
6″ Swirl Stencil over portions of each tag and apply texture paste using a palette knife. Allow the texture to dry completely.

Apply gilding wax to the edges of the tags for a distressed, vintage appearance.

Add gilding wax to the Vintage Frames Chipboard Embellishments.

Print and cut out fall themed clip art.

Complete the tags by adhering the clip art, adding the Vintage frames and ribbons.

These tags are a wonderful reminder that mixed media doesn’t have to be complicated to be beautiful. A few layers of texture, warm autumn colors, vintage imagery, and dimensional chipboard pieces come together to create projects full of seasonal charm. Whether you’re adding them to gifts, displaying them in your home, or tucking them into a journal, these fall-inspired tags are sure to bring a cozy touch to your autumn crafting.
