Spring Wedding Layout
Hey there! Today I’m sharing a spring wedding layout project with you using products from CutCardStock.
If I haven’t mentioned it before, I’ll say now, that I love anything about weddings! So, when my great niece sent me this photo I knew I wanted to make something special for her. This layout measures 12 x 12 inches and I will place it in a white shadowbox so she can display.
The base was done with an 11 1/2 x 11 1/2 inch piece of Basis WHITE 80lb Card Stock matted with a 12 x 12 inch piece of Silk Glitter Sparkling Water Aqua Discount Card Stock.
FYI – I did cut out the center of the glitter card stock to conserve and have a usable piece for something else.
To add a little bit of pattern and color to the background I inked with a 6 x 6 stencil.
The center of the background does not match up perfectly, but most of it will be covered.
I chose a patterned paper to use behind my focal photo. I tore and inked the edges with gold ink for a little texture.
My 4 x 6 inch photo was matted with the Silk Glitter Sparkling Water Aqua Discount Card Stock. MirriSparkle Gold Glitter Card Stock was used to die cut a frame and for a rectangular piece along the right side of the layout.
Stamping, wet embossing and die cutting was done to create the embellishments. A variety of card stocks were used – Silk Glitter Sparkling Water Aqua Discount Card Stock, Silk GLITTER Opulent Opal Card Stock, MirriSparkle Gold Glitter Card Stock, Basis WHITE 80lb Card Stock, Basis OLIVE 80lb Card Stock, Pop Tone BERRYLICIOUS Discount Card Stock, Pop Tone BLUE RASPBERRY Card Stock.
Flowers were assembled.
The flowers were arranged around the focal.

Feminine Encouragement Card
We’ve all been there, at one time or another, needing a little encouragement, right? A special handmade card is a great way to let someone know that you are there for them in those times.
Hey there. Today I'm sharing my take on a feminine themed encouragement card. And what makes a project more feminine than the use of glitter, flowers and ribbon. But wait. You don’t like using glitter? Well I have an alternative. It’s glitter card stock from CutCardStock and it’s on special for the month of April!
I started by stamping the beautiful “Audrey” doll from Prima onto DCS Discount 8.5×11 Card Stock: Smooth Sand Castle Tan and partially stamping onto MirriSparkle Glitter Pink Sapphire 16 pt 8.5×11 Card Stock and DCS White GLITTER Heavyweight 12×12 Discount Card Stock.
I paper pieced the cut pieces as seen in the photo below.
A card base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches was formed by folding a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 inch Basis WHITE 80lb Cardstock in half. I matted a 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 inch piece of DCS White GLITTER Card Stock to a piece of 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch piece of Silk GLITTER Princess Pink Card stock and adhered to the front of card base.
A 4 1/4 x 7 1/2 inch piece of the Basis White Card Stock was cut and lightly inked with pink ink in the center. This piece was matted with the Silk Glitter Princess Pink Card Stock. I added a piece of pink ribbon to this piece before adhering to the card front.
Next it’s time to add the Prima doll to the card center.
We need some embellishments I stamped, embossed and watercolored 3 flowers and a sentiment on Royal Sundance FELT Brilliant White Card Stock. I fussy cut the flowers and the sentiment.
The flowers, sentiment and a bow were added to complete the card.
I hope you have enjoyed my project and invite you to connect with us over on the CutCardStock Facebook Page.
