Hey there!
Today I am sharing a quick and easy slimline card project
using 2 metallic card stocks and 2 dies over on the CutCardStock Creative Blog.
CutCardStock some beautiful gold and silver card stock on special this month that will help you create something that will look great and truly be appreciated by the recipient.
I have used Classic Linen 84 lb Gold Pearl 8.5x11 Card Stock, Stardream Metallic GOLD 105 lb Cardstock and Basis WHITE 80lb Cardstock.
My 9 x 4 inch slimline card base was made with the Basis White and I covered the front with a 9 x 4 inch piece of the Classic Linen card stock.
I took a piece of 8 1/2 x 3/12 inch piece of the Curious Metallic card stock and die cut one end with a border die. A smaller piece was used to die cut the sentiment.
Layers were built by adding the border piece of Curious Metallic and a 3 3/8 x 6 3/8 inch piece of the Classic Linen.
A piece of 5 3/8 x 2 3/8 inch piece of Basis White was layered next. The finishing touches were the sentiment and some of the small stars that were from the border.
