SSD September 2015 Progressive Challenge

Hello Sassy fans!
It's a new month and we have a new
progressive challenge at

School Day Dayna
I love the fall inspired DP from DCWV's
Fall & Halloween Combo Pack
I used as inspiration for my card.
I printed the image and colored with Spectrum Noir markers,
The skirt was paper pieced. The embossing folder is from
there Paper Studio. I die cut the brown leaves and the
small and beige leaves are Dazzles stickers.
I finished up by adding a button with twine.

You can get this image FOR FREE if you play along in our challenge.

September at HOC

Can you believe it's the 1st of September!
Where did the summer go?

Well with it being a new month that means we have
a new challenge up and running at
House of Cards!

This month we want to see your projects
using stitching - either real or faux.

My card uses faux stitching.

Pretty simple design for me this month.
My focal image is from the "Cute as a Button"
3-D Paper Tole from Hot Off the Press.
I layered it on top of some labels that are
part of a free download to match the paper tole
and papers. The pink "stitches" are Dazzles border stickers.
I stamped the sentiment.

Hope you'll check out the rest of the DT's projects
all throughout he month and then show us what you come up with
from the inspiration. We can't wait to see!

Thanks for taking a look!

How Does Your Garden Grow?

This weeks DTBST challenge at
is "How Does Your Garden Grow?"

I couldn't pass up creating a garden wedding scene
using Bella Bride Sassy.

I fussy cut the large roses and added some stickles for
a little sparkle and placed on a vellum background.
The gate was cut from the Cricut Ornamental Iron
cartridge. I stamped the sentiment and added tiny paper roses.

We hope you'll join us at
and show us how your garden grows!

Best Wishes

It's the 21st of the month and that means a new challenge at

This time we have everyone's favorite theme
"Anything Goes.

I created a wedding card.

Our sponsor this time around is
All Dressed Up.

Love this sweet bride from the "To Have and Hold" digi.
I used one of my favorite embossing folders from Hot Off the Press
for the background. I love it because it reminds me of lace.
The image was printed on white card stock, colored with pencil colors
and fussy cut before I added a little stickles.
She was popped with foam dots on the Spellbinders die cuts.
I embellished with some gems, dazzles border stickers,
ribbon and paper roses. The sentiment was stamped.

You know you want to check out that the rest of the DT did
and then show us your "Anything Goes" creation at

Use a Sentiment

Happy Friday!
It's time for a new challenge at

We want to see sentiments on your cards this time around!

Using Kimmy's Letter from our sponsor this week

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers
before fussy cutting. I added stickles for the snow.
The image was popped on the die cut circles.
I stamped the sentiment with red ink, die cut
and accented with a blue gel pen.
We hope to see your cards using a sentiment at

For the Boys at SSD

It's time for a new DTBST challenge at

The theme is "For the Boys".
So we would like to see your masculine projects.

I don't typically do a lot of masculine projects but this one
was pretty easy for me using "Handy Sassy in a step card design.
My DP is from My Mind's Eye and the
tool stickers are from the Paper Studio.

Check out what the rest of the DT did at
Sassy Studio Designs
and then show us your masculine project.
We can't wait to see what you come up with!
