Paws, Photos & Precious Memories: Pet Scrapbook Layout

 Our pets leave paw prints on our hearts, and what better way to celebrate those special memories than with a scrapbook layout that showcases their playful personalities? Today’s project is a layout featuring some favorite photos of a lovable pup paired with adorable chipboard embellishments from Clear Scraps that add just the right finishing touches.

For the base of the layout, I chose warm neutral patterned papers layered with rich red paw print paper to create a cozy backdrop.

Matting each photo with black cardstock helps the images stand out while tying together the black accents throughout the page.

The fun details are what really bring this layout to life! I used the  Treats (pets) Chipboard Punchout Embellishments, including the sweet paw print, bone, and the “Love Has 4 Paws” sentiment. These lightweight chipboard pieces add dimension without overwhelming the design and perfectly complement the pet theme.

I painted the chipboard pieces with acrylic paint.

To finish the page, I arranged the embellishments around the photos, helping guide the eye across the layout while leaving plenty of the adorable pictures as the focal point. The combination of patterned papers, layered mats, and dimensional chipboard creates a balanced design that’s both playful and heartfelt.
