My card uses "Captain Owen" from

The Paper Nest Dolls.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers

and fussy cut before popping with foam dots on the rectangle panel.

The banners were die cut with a Taylored Expressions label die.

The computer generated greeting was die cut with Sizzix Framelits dies.

The printed papers are from Carta Bella's

 Rough and Tumble and Ahoy There.

The anchor button was the finishing touch!

December Challenge at Cute As A Button

Hello all!

I am so excited to posting for the first time as a DT member for

Cute As A Button!

And being it's the first of the month we have a new challenge starting today

on the challenge blog which can be found here.

The theme is "New Beginnings".

I used the image called "A Gift from God" for my card.

I colored the image with pencil colors, fussy cut
and popped with foam dots on the square frame
die cut with Sizzix Framelits.
The papers are from Hot Off the Press's Finished in a Flash Swirly Kit.
The ribbon is Offray and the enamel dots are Teresa Collins.

We have a new DTBST challenge at

Sassy Studio Designs.

Since today is Thanksgiving that's the theme we're going with.

I used Daphne Sassy for my card.
She was colored with pencil colors and fussy cut.
I found the free subway art at

and framed with  Sizzix Originals due cut.
The leaves were cut with a Spellbinders die.
I added the button and bakers twine bow.
