Creative Craft Cottage Anything Goes

Hello, hello!
It's the 7th of the month and that means a new challenge at

The theme for this month is
"Anything Goes".

Our sponsor is

The Prize for the lucky winner is 3 Digi Images

I really like this sweet digital and thought it would
make for a great baby card.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils and fussy cut.
I punched a tag, dry embossed and matted a piece of white card stock
to place the focal image on.
I printed the sentiment and cut into a banner.
I placed a paper doily behind the tag and sentiment and
on top of a piece of DP.
A pretty green bow was added to the tag as a finishing touch.

I hope you'll join us this month!
We always like to see what you create!

Girly Challenge at Polkadoodles

Happy Friday!
It's time for a new challenge at

And this is my first post as a
full fledged member of the
Polkadoodles DT.
I have a Guest Designer for the last several weeks
but, was asked to join permanently and was
extremely excited to accept!

This week the DT is creating
projects with a "Girly" theme,
But the theme is always “Anything Goes” for participants.

I love the Helga images and decided to use one for
an altered letter project.

I colored Helga with pencils.
I painted the back of the wood letter with acrylic paint
to coordinate with the pink color scheme I chose.
The paper was printed and decoupaged to the from of the letter.
I had some silk flowers in an old flower arrangement, so decided to repurpose some of them.
I added a dark pink satin bow.

I hope you'll join us for the challenge!
It would be great to see what you create!

April Challenge at HOC

Hey there!
It's April 1st and that means it's time for a new challenge at

For this month's theme we would like to see

CAS Floral Corner and/or Colors

I incorporated the CAS theme as well as some of the colors for my card.

I used a Sheena Douglass stamp set from Crafter's Companion
for the gerbera daisies and colored with Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils.
The sentiment is also from Crafter's Companion - "My Sunshine"
Spectrum Noir Colorista Aqua Stamp Set.
I wrapped ribbon around the stamped panel, added a bow
and matted with kraft card stock. All is applied to an ivory 6.5 x.5 inch card base.

CAS is not usually my style, but I love the way this turned out.
I think I'll be playing with some more CAS designs in the future!

I hope you'll join us for the challenge!
We always love to see what you create!

Morgan's ArtWorld March Mid-Point Inspiration

Hello there!
We are at the Mid-Point of the
Morgan's ArtWorld Challenge for March!

I created a scalloped shaped Easter card using
"New Life".

The design is pretty simple, but
I wanted to put the emphasis on the sweet image.
I colored the image with pencils and die cut in a circle shape.
The card base was die cut in 2 layers
and I added a white paper doily.
I computer generated the sentiment and
printed on vellum and die cut un a banner shape.
The ribbon bow finished off the design perfectly.

I hope you'll join us.
The theme is always "Anything Goes"!
