Be Mine Valentine #2

Okay, I couldn't help myself. I had to do another
Valentine card using Spunky from
and I'm probably going to put together a few more!

This time I took inspiration from

and

Now, off to come up with something else!

Thanks for taking a look!

Be Mine

I'm attempting to get a few more Valentine's cards done today
and I couldn't resist this cute digital image from

"Spunky Valentine"
You can find him here.

What do you think? Isn't he just the cutest?
I printed him on white card stock, colored with
spectrum noir markers and fussy cut.
I thought  the current sketch at
would work great, although I reversed it.
I used one of my favorite embossing folders from
the Paper Studio, a Fiskars border punch and DP,
bakers twine and heart gems from Recollections.

Now, lets see if I can get motivated to get a couple more
Valentines done.

Love U Valentine

It's been a while since I did a post with a card I created for

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching I thought I would
make a card with a lovely couple.
This one features the Michael stamp and a Prima Doll stamp.

Both were stamped on white card stock and colored with
Spectrum Noir markers.
Some of the embellishments are from Hot Off the Press's
"Rhapsody" 3-D paper tole.
The red and black hearts were cut with a Sizzix originals die
and the sticker sentiments are from my stash.

Love is in the Air

Time for another challenge at

This week we have a theme challenge.
"Love is in the Air"

This is what I came up with using this sweet digital stamp called
"Maddie & Jamie Waltz"
from our fabulous sponsor
Lacy Sunshine.

I had a lot of fun putting this one together.
I happened to remember I had all these great Colorbok frames
that I bought years ago at Hobby Lobby and thought this
heart shaped one would work great with the theme.
I added stickles and the heart shaped gems.
I love the way it turned out!

Check out the other DT cards at
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards Challenge
and see what you can come up with for the theme
"Love is in the Air".

Snowman in Purple

I have some catching up to do on my Christmas cards for this year.
I should be making at least one a week and I've only
managed to get three done so far.
When I woke this morning to about 5 inches of snow I was
inspired to get another one done with a snowman theme.

I actually stamped this snowman when I was working on
my cards last year and didn't use it at the time so I was
glad I didn't throw him away!
The frame and trees were cut with
Sizzix original dies. I once again used one of my favorite
Darice embossing folders.

HOC February Challenge

It's a new month and that means it's time for a new challenge at
This month we have a Word Cue Challenge.

So what kind of card do you think of when you see the word "LOVE"?
Most of you, especially since this is February, probably are thinking Valentine's.
I created a wedding card based on a wedding invitation layout
I did several months ago as a gift.

As you can see, I used the same color combo and layout.
Of course everything was cut down in scale to fit.
I love the way the card turned out!

Be sure to check out the DT's inspiration all through
the month, see what you can come up with and link up with us at
House of Cards!
