Life is Better at the Beach!
A lot of people would agree with the above statement.
I, myself, am more of a mountain person than a beach person.
How about you? Beach or mountain?
But, I had this image which I colored up a little while ago. And
since it's Memorial Day, which is usually the kickoff to summer, at least
here in the states, thought it appropriate for creating a cute summer card.
The image is colored with Spectrum Noir Markers.
I had a stenciled background laying on my desk for some time.
So, I put it to use.
Added some torn pieces of light brown paper, also on my desk.
Layered up to resemble sand.
And, what do you know, I also had a piece of blue vellum.
I thought it would look great, torn and layered for an ocean effect.
Popped Liam onto the card background and there you go.
A fun beach themed card all created with left overs from other projects.
The "Life is Better at the Beach" sentiment is a layered sticker from my stash.
