Beehive Home Decor

Bring a little buzz-worthy charm to your home décor with this adorable beehive project created with products from Clear Scraps

This layered piece combines patterned papers, sparkle, dimensional florals, and a sweet shaker bee accent for a cheerful farmhouse-inspired decoration perfect for spring and beyond.

2 products from Clear Scraps are used for this project, Medium Beehive Shiplap Shape & Mini Shaker Bee.

I started by cutting coordinating yellow and floral patterned papers, to cover the beehive.

Before adhering the papers in place, I painted the hive entrance black for contrast and dimension.

Adhere papers to the beehive with decoupage medium.
I did also cover the papers with the decoupage to seal.

After adhering the papers in place, I added decorative trim along each section of the beehive
to highlight the shape and give it a finished look.

The star of the project is the adorable Mini Shaker Bee. Color was added to the outer chip form with a black sparkle pen.

I colored the back piece with acrylic paint markers.

Assemble the shaker by adhering 2 of the form pieces to the back.

Add glitter and sequins.

Remove film from both sides of the acrylic piece and
adhere to the back of the outer form piece.

Add to complete the shaker.

To embellish the top corner, a seam binding bow was added.

I created a dimensional paper flower using coordinating cardstock and added a gem center for a pop of shine. A few leaves tucked underneath complete the floral cluster beautifully.

I adhered the bee shaker and as a final touch, I added a dotted bee trail detail near the bee for a whimsical finishing accent.

This project would be so cute displayed on a shelf, tucked into seasonal décor, or gifted to a bee lover. The combination of layered elements, shimmer, and soft floral details makes this beehive home décor piece truly sweet as honey.
