I'm over on the CutCardStock Creative Blog today with
a scrapbook layout project using beautiful fall colors.
Fall has to be my favorite season of the year, so
golds, oranges and browns are some of my favorite colors.
Those are the colors I mainly focused on for my layout.
are perfect for your fall projects or any other projects for that matter!
My fall colors layout uses Canvas Textured Ginger Snap Card Stock, Vanilla Bean Brown Card Stock, Textured Flame Tree Orange Card Stock and Basis 8.5x11 GOLD 80lb Cardstock. I also threw in Classic CREST Recycled 100 BRIGHT WHITE 130 lb 8.5x11 Card Stock, Basis 8.5x11 OLIVE 80lb Cardstock and a patterned paper. Two photos with a "fall themed" background are being used.
The Gingersnap 12 x 12 card stock is used as the layout base. A 1/2 x 11 inch piece of Vanilla Bean Brown card stock is cut in half and adhered to the top and bottom of the base.
Next I cut a 4 1/4 x 5 inch piece of the patterned paper. A 7 1/2 inch circle was cut from the Flame Tree Orange card stock. I cut a piece of Gold cardstock approximately 2 x 8 1/2 inches and a 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 inch piece of white. Not pictured is an 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch piece of the Flame Tree Orange. This was a last minute add.
The pieces above were added to the base as seen in the photo below.
Die cutting, punching and stamping was done for the embellishing.
It's time to add the large circle, photos, die cut title and a stamped and die cut sentiment.
I also added a small piece of gold card stock under the sentiment.
The punched flowers and die cut foliage are the last elements to add.
