Happy Birthday Butterfly

I'm back for a second post for today.  I went over to Just Us Girls to see what the color
challenge is this week and decided to give it a try using the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

Here's what I came up with

I love these colors and knew the Linen Closet stack from DCWV would work great.  It took
me a little while to decide if I should use the printed paper the way I did or if I should use it
as the skewed piece but I think the choice I made worked out okay.  Then I went back and
forth trying to decide if I should add some gems to the kraft banner and finally decided to
go without.  Then there's the decision on which photo do I post? Man, I think I just way
over think these things most of the time and I could probably get a lot more done if I
didn't! But I can about bet that I'm not the only one. Am I right? Anyway, thanks for taking
a look!

  1. I think your card looks great - and I'm glad that I'm not the only one who suffers from ridiculous indecisiveness (I waste so much time moving elements a millimetre up, down, left, right, etc....even though I doubt that anybody would notice or care!!)

    1. Thanks so much for your comment Teresa. It does feel good to know I'm not the only one that goes through this!

  2. Your card turned out beautifully! I really like the patterned paper the way you placed it. That butterfly is gorgeous! Thanks for playing with us at JUGS!

  3. It looks like you did a great job with both challenges! Love the papers you chose! Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls!

  4. This is so pretty! The glittery butterfly makes such an elegant focal point on your card! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  5. This is a great card to combine both of the challenges. The DSP you've used is so pretty and your butterfly is a standout! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

  6. Great use of the colors - love the bfly! Thanks for joining in with JUGS!

  7. You nailed our colors over at Just Us Girls this week Judy! Thanks for joining us...we love your work!

  8. Great use of the sketch and a wonderful use of the colours too. Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls.
