Coolest People Christmas

Christmas is just a week away!
Are we all ready?
I still have gift wrapping and baking to do!
But, before I get on to those tasks,
I thought I would share one of the cards I made for

I've used one of the new digis from the

I colored with pencils and fussy cut.
The background includes papers from
My card base was die cut.

Molly's Joy

Hi there!
I started coloring up this little cutie a few days ago and
didn't get around to finishing her until last night.
This morning I got to thinking and remembered I had a snow globe die.
I thought she would look super cute on a snow globe shaped card.
I stamped some trees on the background,
did a little inking, added some snow banks and
splattered a little white paint for a snow effect.

I love the way this little card came out.

This is Molly's Joy from
The digi was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.
Glitter glue was added to the "JOY" banner Molly is holding.
I die cut the "Merry Christmas" sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
I so appreciate you all!

Winter/Holiday Memory Dex Cards

Hello there! I'm here today with my latest project created for Clear Scraps!

This time around I decided to play with the Vintage Acrylic Memory-Dex Dividers and I’ve also used some Chipboard Punchout Embellishments.

I decided I wanted to add a little something more to the background of the clear dividers, so I pulled out the 6 inch Swirl Stencil and some white metallic texture paste.

A pallet knife was used to spread to texture paste over the stencil onto the dividers. Be sure snd remove the protective film.

This is what I ended up with.

While waiting for the texture paste to dry, I chose some patterned papers to use with a die and which chipboard embellishments I wanted to work with.

I die cut 1 piece of patterned paper for each divider. Also die cut a piece for each out of a white snowflake paper for the backside. This is done to cover up the adhesive used on the front.

Adhere the patterned papers to the fronts.

The white paper is added to the back.

The chipboard pieces were painted with white acrylic paint as a base coat.

I added clear glitter glue to the skate chipboard piece and colored the skate blades with a silver metallic marker. Some twine was added as laces. A dimensional snowflake sticker was added with a greeting/sentiment from some HunkyDory die cuts from my stash.

The mitten chipboard was colored with markers and little glitter glue added for my 2nd divider.

I added more HunkyDory pieces and some twine.

My third divider was decorated with a sweater chipboard piece colored with markers with a tree sticker added. More HunkeyDory pieces were added.

This really was a fun project for me! I hope you like it!

Merry Christmas Cat

It's Thursday and I'm sharing my latest project for

And I've, once again, used a sketch to create my card.
Sketches are fun to use and you can put your own "spin" on them
to come up with a card that is truly unique.

I used one of the images from the High Five Stamps and
2 stamps from the Prickley Pear Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set.
The stamped images were colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.
The sentiment was die cut with Christmas Words with Shadow Die.

Thanks for stopping by and, if you haven't give sketches a try!
