Materials
Choosing stamps for the focal and some dies is the first step.
Stamping
My next step is to color the images with Prismacolor Pencils.
Die Cutting & Embossing
Putting the Card Together
Cut a piece of Lessebo Navy Blue 83lb Cardstock to 4 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches for matting the embossed panel. The embossed panel measures 4 5/8 x 6 1/8 inches.
Take the die cut window and adhere to the focal image.
Mat the panel with embossing with the Lessebo Navy Blue 83lb Cardstock piece cut above.
Also, I add a piece of mesh or netting to the left side for a little more texture.
Pop the window piece onto the panel with embossing with foam tape. Stamp a sentiment on Cougar White Smooth CardStock and fussy cut and adhere with foam tape.
Finally, add the ship's wheel die cut, rope and anchor/life ring.

Oh I love this card - I have a brother who would absolutely appreciate this. I really like the idea of the lighthouse behind the window and the addition of the netting is inspired. Thanks for sharing with us at ATSM
