Cute As A Button Inspiration

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a little inspiration on the

Cute As A Button Inspiration Showcase Blog!

I created an altered notebook/journal using

Poppy Fairy

I started by choosing some card stocks and 

designer papers I liked.

I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

Then I covered the front, back and binding of a 

composition book with the papers. I added some ribbon

where the binding met the covers.

 I attached ribbon across the front and back covers to form a tie.

Next I decided on a layout using a matted doily and rectangle.

I popped the fairy image on the background,

added a glittered chipboard title and some gems to finish.

Pretty simple design this time.

I wanted to share my CT project for the new challenge at

Morgan's ArtWorld.

I created a card using one of this month's New Releases

Fae 22.

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut.

The background DP is from the

Once Upon a Time stack from DCWV.

I popped the image onto a frame  created with Silhouette dies.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut.

I added a flower and a little bling.

I love the way it came out and gave the card

to my daughter-in-law!.

MHKDesigner Inspiration

Hello there!

Today's my day to share a little inspiration at

MHKDesigns!

I had someone ask me if I had any

pet sympathy cards and I had to say no.

So I decided I would create one and

there is a set from MHKDesigns that works great

for such a creation.

Fur & Paws 

I printed the image and only colored the collar with a marker.

I fussy cut and popped with foam tape on die cut ovals.

I used some paw print paper for the background

and used some coordinating solid card stocks.

The sentiment is from

Pretty Petunias.
