Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #9

Movie Madness

It's time for another new challenge at
This week create a project inspired by a movie.
We have a fabulous sponsor that provided the DT with our images.

Prize: 4 Images

I chose…
 "My Fair Lady"

Oh my, "My Fair Lady" is one of my all time favorite movies.
And I love the beautiful lace dress Audrey Hepburn wore in the movie
and wanted to try and give the dress and parasol a "lace" effect here.
So I used 2 different embossing folders to do so and paper pieced.
Then I added some stickles.  It took a few tries to get it to the point
where I was somewhat happy with it.
I thought these beautiful Spellbinders die cuts would frame her
perfectly. I used a Darice embossing folder on the white background,
punched the lacey border with a Martha Stewart punch and added
some pearl borders. I thought the tiny rose and feathers added the
perfect touch to the hat.

Now check out what the rest of the DT came up with for your inspiration at
Crafty Gals Corner
and join us for your chance at the great prize offered.
