w/optional twist - Sweets for Dad!

I opted to create with the twist for my inspiration project.

It is a gatefold card.

The focal image is a digital stamp from Polkadoodles,

Gnometastic Birthday Cake.

I colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

The gnome image is popped onto a die cut & layered stitched circle.

I embossed the red cardstock in the background.

The sentiment was die cut.

Today I'm sharing an inspiration card for this month's

Polkadoodles Craft and Card Making Challenge!

The theme is always

ANYTHING GOES.

You can enter with any type of handmade project,

as long as it's made by you.

My scalloped circle card was created with the Bunny with Carrots Colour Printable as the focal image. It was fussy cut and popped onto a circle die cut placed onto a patterned paper background. I added the sentiment, printable flowers and a bow.

Wishing You a Wonderful Day Easel Card

Hey there!

Today I'm sharing a little inspiration for this month's

Digi Choosday Cardmaking & Crafting Challenge.

The theme, as usual, is

ANYTHING GOES.

I've created a twisted easel card in spring colors using one of my favorite Polkadoodles digis, Primrose from the Darling Buds collection.  She is colored with pencils and fussy cut. I adhered her to some paper doilies with foam tape onto the card front. Silk flowers from my stash and a bow were added.  Pearls were added to the flowers on Primrose.The sentiment acts as the stopper for the easel. It is stamped and die cut. I also added a beaded border.

Mother's Day at Polkadoodles

It's time for me to share an inspiration card for this month's

Polkadoodles Craft and Card Making Challenge.

My card is a Mother's Day card

created with Holly Flower Basket Download.

I colored her with Castle Arts Pasteltint Pencils.

She is fussy cut and popped onto a layered, die cut oval.

The background papers are from

Winnie Daisy Fairy Paper Patterns 2.

I printed the sentiment from

Spring Flower Mother's Day Friends Greetings Sentiments Printable.

It was die cut with an oval die and matted.

A ribbon, bow and some gems were added to complete my card design.

I am using Gil Bunny Rabbit Growing Sunflowers Digi as my focal.

He is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.

I adhered to white cardstock.

A border at the top of the card uses one of the papers from

Pretty Spring Printable Papers.

The sentiment was printed and die cut with an oval die.

I added handcut banners to complete my card design.

My inspiration card for this this week was created with Heartfelt Wishes - Udderly Cute. This cute digi was printed, colored with Prismacolor Pencils and cut down to fit a slimline card base. One of the papers from Udderly Cute Printable Paper Pack 4 was used on the bottom of the card. I used 2 papers from Udderly Cute Printable Paper Pack 3. One was placed on the top of the card. I fussy cut flowers from the other to use as embellishments. The sentiment is from Udderly Cute Printable Greetings. It was printed and cut with an oval die. I matted and placed over a banner strip.

This week's card was created with 

Cute Elephant Printable Digital Stamp 

from the Tons of Love Collection. 

I coloured the black and white image with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut. 

The background papers are from Hearts and Happiness Papers. 

I printed the sentiment from Spring Tons of Love Greetings. 

The sweet elephant was popped up with foam onto the sentiment panel. 

I added ribbon, a bow, and some confetti embellishments to complete my card design.

Sharing my latest inspiration card for this month's

Polkadoodles Craft & Card Making Challenge.

 My inspiration for this week is a winter themed card

created with Theo Penguin Cable Car.

These cute penguins were colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

I used papers from Theo Penguin Paper Bundle 3 for the background.

The sentiment is from 

Theo Penguin 109 Winter/Christmas/Birthday Greetings Sentiments Bundle.

It was printed and die cut with a stitched circle die from my stash,

which is placed on top of a snowflake die cut. I cut it with

Fancy Snowflake Cutting Die.

Bee Gnome Thank You Card

 Hello there!

Today I'm sharing an inspiration card for this month's

Polkadoodles Digi Chooseday Challenge.

The challenge is

ANYTHING GOES.

You have all month to enter with projects using any images

from any company for a chance to win 1 of 3 prizes.

 The focal image is Cup of Honey Buzzy Bee Gnome. I printed, colored with Prismacolor pencils and die cut with a circle die. The circle die was matted with another before adding to the card background, which is comprised of white card stock and a patterned panel. The patterned paper is from Bee Buzzy Stripes & Gingham Printable Paper Patterns. The sentiment was printed onto a hand cut banner shape. I added some twine and a flower button.

Toadal Sweetheart

Hey there! 

Today I'm sharing an inspiration card for this month's

Polkadoodles Craft & Card Making Challenge.

The design team was asked to created Thank You cards.

I know it's still winter but, I opted for a more spring themed card.

The card is a slimline design using the Toadal Sweetheart Stamp Set.

The cute frog image was stamped and colored with markers before fussy cutting.

Papers from Toadally Cute Paper Pack were used.

The "Thank You!" sentiment was printed from the 

Winnie Daisy Greetings, Quotes and Sentiments and die cut.

"You're a Toadal Sweetheart" sentiment was stamped from the stamp set and die cut.

I added some twine and a button.

My inspiration project is a treat box.

The design team was asked to create a gift, not a card.

This box measures 3 12 x 3 1/2 inches and would work, as well,

for holding a gift card or jewelry.

The focal on the box top is

Snowy Sleigh with Parcels & Gifts - Elvis Wesley Moose Printable.

I colored this cute little guy with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

I handcut a couple "snow banks, added some glitter glue.

A die cut tree is added behind Elvis Wesley.

He is popped with foam tape onto a layered die cut circle.

The background paper on the box is from

Theo Penguin Paper Bundle 4.

I printed the sentiment from

Elvis Wesley Moose Themed Sentiments.

Have a HoHoHomazing Christmas! - Festive Card Inspiration

Today I’m sharing a sweet and festive Christmas card featuring

one of the new Mabel Holiday Printable Bundles from 

Polkadoodles!

Mabel Festive Wishes

I had so much fun bringing this design to life with classic holiday colors,

lots of layering, and a touch of sparkle!
For the background, I used a red-and-green striped paper from the bundle. 

It is matted with green card stock and adhered to red glitter card stock on the card base.

 I then added a scalloped stitched frame in deep green to anchor the focal point.

The star of the card is "Mabel", all dressed up for Christmas in her polka-dot dress, 

cozy boots, and a gorgeous flower crown.

 I colored her in warm, soft tones to match the vintage feel of the paper. 

To complement her floral crown, 

I tucked in a cluster of poinsettias and holly leaves in the upper corner,

 which is pussycat from another of the papers included in the bundle.

—perfect for adding dimension and seasonal charm.

The playful sentiment, “Have a HoHoHomazing Christmas!”, also from the bundle,

ties everything together and adds a fun, cheerful touch.

A few pearls in the upper corner finish the design and add just the right pop of shine.
This card was such a joy to create, and I hope it brings a little extra holiday cheer your way!

Ornament Card

Time for me to share some inspiration for this month's

Polkadoodles Craft & Card Making Challenge.

 My project is an ornament shaped card with Christmas colors. 

Red, green and gold are classic Christmas colors, in my opinion, 

so thats what I used.

The ornament shape is die cut out of red glitter and a gold foil card stocks.

I die cut a smaller circle shape for the card center.

The poinsettias and sentiment were stamped from the 

Wonderful Christmas 4 x 8 Stamp Set.

I colored the poinsettias with Prismacolor pencils.

Gold "gem look" trim was added to complete my design.

This week's inspiration project is a birthday card created with

Birthday Cake Elephant Digital Stamp.

I colored this little cutie with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

The card background consists of a patterned paper from

Birthday Fun 6x6 Paper Pack and white card stock that

was embossed with a brick pattern embossing folder.

I added a number 3 which was printed from

Cute Elephant Tons of Love Numbers Printables.

The sentiment was stamped with one of the stamps in the

Birthday Celebrations 4x8 Clear Stamp Set.

Halloween Treat Bag

Hello there!

It's Saturday and time for me to share some more inspiration for this month's

Polkadoodles Craft & Card Making Challenge!

The theme is

ANYTHING GOES

 My DT inspiration project for this week is a Halloween treat bag.

The bag was made with black cardstock.

I added patterned paper from

Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Papers Bundle 2.

Ribbon handles were attached.

A shaker was made with some recycled packaging and scalloped circle die cuts.

The focal image was stamped from

Grab Your Broomstick Matchables Die Set.

I colored with Prismacolor pencils, die cut and adhered to the shaker.
