Anything But a Square/Rectangle

Good morning all!

Today we have a new challenge over at

Glitter 'N' Sparkle!

This time around we are asking for

projects the are

"Anything But a Square/Rectangle"!

It's not very often I stray away from creating

cards that are not a square or rectangle,

but I think I should do so more often!

It's fun to step out of your comfort zone

every once in a while and try something new!

Lacy Sunshine

My card was created by die cutting a 5x6.5 inch card base

with a scalloped circle die from Lifestyle crafts.

Rory was colored with pencils and fussy cut

before popping on the card with foam tape.

I used a combination of punched flowers and butterflies

and layered flower and lady bug stickers for embellishment.

Cute As A Button Inspiration

Today is my day to share an inspiration project on the

Cute As A Button Inspiration Showcase Blog.

I created another altered notebook using

"Venice Mask".

I started by coloring the image with Prismacolor pencils & gels pens

and fussy cutting. Next I pulled out a notebook, chose papers that would

coordinate well with the image and a template to cut  frame.

I added some embossing to the frame with a 

Cuttlebug border embossing folder.

 I added DCWV DP to the notebook cover.

                                 

I glued ribbon to the cover, in order to tie the notebook shut,

and added the frame on top

Next I added the image to the frame.

The sentiment was computer generated and stamping was added

to frame the sentiment before die cutting with a

stamp and die from Hot Off the Press.

I also added some stickles to the flower on the mask.

To finish I added some feathers behind the image.

Llama Love

Hello!

Today I have another project I put

together as GDT for the

Imagine That Digistamp Facebook Group!

This is an altered wooden letter created using

Llama Love.

Who doesn't like llamas?

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut.

The back of the letter was painted with Acrylic paint.

I decoupaged the front with DP from 

Recollections At the Park 12x12 paper pad.

The floral strips of paper and butterflies are from the

same paper pad. The flowers are Recollections.

The Ribbon is from my stash.

I hope you like it!

I loved putting it together!

Happy Monday everyone!

I have another

Imagine That Digistamp

project to share as one of this month's

GDT on the Imagine That Facebook Group!

This is a 12 x 12 inch canvas I created using

the Panda set.

I colored the cute panda with Prismacolor pencils.

The flowers and butterflies were made with punches.

My title is one of the sentiments included with the set,

as are the printed papers.

I used some ribbon, baker's twine, a dazzles border sticker and enamel dots as well.

The background was created with 3 different colors

of green card stock that was torn and apples with

decoupage medium. The edges were painted with black acrylic paint.

I am so happy I was given the opportunity to be

This is an 8x8 inch album cover.

I loved putting it together.

I colored "Sandy" with Prismacolor pencilsand fussy cut 

before placing her on the white panel with foam tape.

I printed the film strip from the set on acetate.

The papers & flowers were coordinated with Sandy's outfit

and one of the sentiments was added!

MHKDesigns Inspiration

Hey there!

Today is my day to share a little inspiration at

MHKDesigns!

I love taking inexpensive composition books

and altering the cover to make them

a little more special.

I took one of the images from 

The Write Stuff

and did just that!

I printed the image on kraft card stock and die cut.

I did the same with the sentiment.

I used some printed kraft card stock

to accent the image and added some enamel dots.

Not a lot of work to make a big impact!
