Lots of Flowers at Polkadoodles

Happy Friday!

It's time for a new challenge at

Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge.

As a Guest Designer I am so fortunate

to get to use some great products to work with.

I used “Big Bunch”digi stamp from Winnie’s Celebrations 1,

a sentiment from “Winnie’s Celebrations 1 Seniments”

and paper from “Helga Hippo Paper Heaven 2”.

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut,

then popped with foam tape on to the die cut frame.

I printed the sentiment and die cut.

Paper roses, a bow and gems were added to complete the design.

Cute As A Button Inspiration

Hey there everyone!

Today I am sharing some inspiration on the

Cute As A Button Inspiration Showcase Blog.

I really like altering the covers of composition books

to create something special that can be given

as a gift or kept for yourself.  They make great journals!

I decided to use the beautiful digital stamp called

"Peacock Mermaid".

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils.

 

The image was fussy cut and added to papers from
Craft Smith's "Mermaid Coast" 12 x 12 paper pad.

I added some glittery washi tape, ribbon and layered stickers.

The quote, "Tans fade. Memories last forever" was cut

from the paper pad with a tag punch.

Warm Thoughts on a Spring Day

Hello there!

How is everyone?

I wanted to pop in today to share 

a little bit of springtime inspiration.
I know it doesn't seem like spring in lots of areas.
It sure does here, in Colorado, today at 70 degrees.

This is a card I created using products from

Crafter's Companion.

I did some stamping, coloring, die cutting and fussy cutting.

MHKDesigner Inspiration

Hello there!

Today it's my turn to share a little inspiration

using this month's New Release Set from

MHKDesigns!

Blessed Lily

Once again, this is a great set that is appropriate for many occasions.

I created a simple Easter card with clean lines.

I colored the lily with SN markers and fussy cut.

The background white pearl paper was dry embossed.

I printed the sentient and die cut.

The finishing touches are a bow and some glittered sticker dots.

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Well it seems the weekend is winding down

and I thought I would pop in and share

a card I created using one of this month's

New Release Digi Stamps from

Cute As A Button.

"Bloom Where You Are Planted"

I created a pretty simple design in a scalloped circle shape

and did some layering and a little dry embossing, 

although not much shows!

The image was colored with pencils and fussy cut.

I die cut the inspirational quote.

A ribbon bow was added.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hello all!

Hope everyone is doing well on this fine

St.Patrick's Day!

I wanted to share a card I created using products from

Crafter's Companion.

I die cut the medium size heart 3 times from the

Gemini Metal Die Pack Set One

to create the shamrock.

I actually cut the hearts out of white card stock and colored with 

Spectrum Noir Marker.

The sentiment was die cut from Words of Endearment Dies.

I stamped the jar and foliage fromBeautiful Bouquet Stamp Set.

The jar was stamped on green vellum.

I stamped the foliage in various green colors

on white card stock and adhered the die cut shamrock on top.

I backed the jar with white yardstick and popped with foam tape.

I added bakers twine and the sentiment.

I used

 Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth White CardstockShimmering Cardstock in Forest Green
Luxury Card Stock in Matte Gold Metallic

I hope I've inspired a little bit of

St. Pat's inspiration today!

I colored the frame with glitter gel pens and fussy cut.

I just wanted to pop in quickly and share a card I created

using an image, digital papers and a sentiment from Polkadoodles.

Winnie Celebrations 2 Top Banana Printable Download Kit.

I colored the image with pencils.

I used 2 of the digital papers.

The sentiment was printed and die cut.

A bow and some sticker dots finished up the design!

Welcome Little One

Hey everyone!

I'm so happy to say that I am

New Release & Challenge at MHKDesigns

It's time to introduce a New Release set

and start a new challenge at

MHKDesigns.

This month's New Release Set is

"Blessed Lily".

 I used the new set for my DT Challenge card.

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut.

One of the sentiments was printed and die cut.

I embossed the background.

 The image was adhered with foam tape.

I added the sentiment and punched a butterfly

and added to the design to complete.
