Conie Fong Little Mermaid

Happy Friday!
Popping in this afternoon to post this tag I created for

I used Conie's newest digi, Little Mermaid.
It is MerMay after all.

I colored up this cutie with Prismacolor Pencils.
A little glitter glue was also added.
She was fussy cut and added to a tag that measures 4 x 9 inches.
I added a shell patterned paper from a Craft Smith 12 x 12 paper pad called
Mermaid Coast.
The patterned border pieces are from the same pad.
I added 3 pieces of a sort of mesh like gold ribbon and
popped the little mermaid onto with foam tape.
My "you are beautiful" sentiment was fussy cut from the paper pad I used.
Ribbons were added to the top of the tag and topped with a fussy cut starfish.

I do hope you'll check this digi out along with all the other
fabulous digis available in Conie's Etsy Shop.

Flower Hug

Today it's my turn to share some inspiration for

I used 3 stamp sets and 2 die sets for my envelope box card.

The poppy stamp was stamped 3 times and colored with pencils.
I used one complete stamp and parts of the other 2 to fill my box card,
All the pieces were fussy cut.
The butterflies were die cut, then stamped.
I did some inking on them.

The sentiment was stamped from the Flower Hug for You Stamps onto
the die cut oval and layered with the smaller die from the Flourish Oval Dies.

Vintage Printer Tray

I love home decor projects! How about you?

Hi there! Today I'm here with my Creative Guest Team Member project for Clear Scraps for this month!

This project is created with the Circle Printer Tray Frame and the

Journey Chipboard Word Title.

The Printer Tray Frames measure approximately 12 x 12 inches. Each tray comes with 1 chipboard back, 3 chipboard cutouts and 1 acrylic divider. Be sure to remove the protective film from both sides of the acrylic when adding to your project.

Since I was using the chipboard word title Jouney, I decided I would go with a travel theme and found some beautiful vintage style clip art on Etsy from Abroutique.

Next I chose a 12 x 18 inch patterned card stock from my stash that I felt coordinated well with the clip art. I will cover the chipboard back with this as my base. The back piece was traced onto the backside of the card stock, fussy cut and adhered with double sided tape.

I used a sanding block to smooth out the edges of the card stock.

Now it’s time to start adding the decorative pieces.

I printed the clip art pieces and fussy cut.

Then I placed one of the cutouts over the base and decided where to place each piece.

There were a few spots where I felt something else was needed, so I die cut some flourishes. Some flowers were fussy cut from the left over pieces of the patterned card stock used. I also punched a border piece and found a border sticker from my stash to use as well.

Once I have these pieces laid out it is time to start putting it all together, from the base up.

The flourishes and border sticker were adhered to the base.

The first chipboard cutout is next. I glued the flowers and punched border on top of the cutout. This piece was adhered to the base.

The second cutout is next. I glued the clip art pieces on top. I did add some foam tape to some of these clip art pieces as well. This piece is then adhered onto the first cutout.

Remove the protective film from the acrylic piece and glue the outside edge to the tray.

Paint the third cutout and the Journey Word Title.

Adhere the painted cutout to the tray. Add the word title.

My project is complete.

Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my project!

Blooming Heart

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone is well today.

I'm doing great and am happy to be here to share a card created for

I have used the lovely Ella Fleur.
She has been colored with pencils and fussy cut.
My 5 x 7 inch card is a pretty simple design.
I covered the white card base with a pretty metallic card stock.
The background panel is from a Recollections 12 x 12 paper pad.
It was cut from one of the corners of a page.
I like using papers with patterns that can be used that way!
It is white with silver foiled flowers.
I added a little color with inks and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment.
A slit was cut and then I fussy cut part of the bottom scallop and
slipped the fussy cut image in.
Glitter Dots were added to the top right corner to complete.

I do hope you'll check this digi out along with all the other
fabulous digis available in Conie's Etsy Shop.

Home Decor with Date Night Stamps

I'm back with another post this morning.
This time I have a fun home decor project I created for

The stamps set I used is

Date Night is a 4x6 inch clear photopolymer stamp set illustrated by Kayla Ruble.
This stamp set contains seven images and one sentiments.

Sentiment include:

  • You and I just go together.

Coordinating die sold separately

I love this stamp set. It is so cute and fun!
My thought for this project was to make something maybe for an anniversary.
So I created 5 pieces to add to a floral arrangement.

I used all of the stamps but the big "Date Night"stamp.
My stamping was done with a dark gray stamp pad on white card stock.
Some of the elements were fussy cut and added to die cuts.
Some were stamped multiple times and die cut into a circle shape.
I colored with a combo of pencils and markers with a little glitter gel pen and glue added.
One rosette was made and place behind the sentiment piece.
Each of the 5 die cut pieces are double sided, so a dowel can be tucked into the center.

My vase is actually a plastic popcorn jar that I covered with silver tissue paper.
A piece of red ribbon and black netting were fashioned into a bow tied around the jar neck.
I had the silk flowers in my craft stash.
They were arranged simply and the other pieces were added.

I hope I have provided you some inspiration to think "out of the box" and
create a home decor piece with your stamp sets.
