You're Tea-riffic

Posting today on behalf of

I am using the Tea & Coffee Time Stamps and the Scalloped Circle Die for my card project.

FIY, Tea & Coffee Time Stamps is on sale! What a fun stamp set this is! Perfect for many occasions!

Stamp the tea cup, tea bag and 3 of the heart images before coloring with Prismacolor Pencils. I fussy cut and added some gold glitter glue to the cup and hearts.

Wanting the tea cup to stand out, I die cut the white scallop circle and cut a mat to go behind.

My card is A2 size. 2 pattern papers from my stash cover the card base.

Cut the burlap pattern paper to 4 x 5 1/4 inches to cover the card base. I cut the polka dot paper to 4 inches wide with 2 angles on the lower edge.

Punching a white "lacy" border to go where the 2 pattern papers meet add a "little extra".

Pop the tea cup and tea bag onto the die cut circle with foam tape. Adhere the hearts with foam squares.

Stamp and fussy cut the You're Tea-riffic sentiment. Add a mat behind.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my "Tea-riffic" card project! I hope I have given you a little inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by today!
I do so appreciate it.

Wedding Invitation Set

DIY Wedding Invitations seem to be quite popular these days! And, why not? It's pretty easy to come up with your own design with access to printable templates, tutorials and supplies.

Hey there! Today I'm sharing a Wedding Invitation Set project for CutCardStock.

Design the Invitation and RSVP Card

Designing the invitation and RSVP card is my first step. You can accomplish this with a word processing program on your computer or access templates online. I am using Pages on my MacBook.

Open a blank layout document. Choose the size of the invitation. I am using 5 x 7 inches. If adding graphics, import them and adjust size and position. A pretty floral digital image is what I am going with. I position one in the top left corner and one in the bottom right corner.

Next, bring in a text box. Position it where you want and add the wording for the invite. I choose to use a couple different fonts and sizes.

The steps for RSVP card design are done in the same way as the invitation. I am going with a 3 1/2 x 5 inch size.

Once I am happy with everything I print the invitation on Cougar A7 (5x7) Flat Discount Card Stock Invitations. Print the RSVP cards on the same, but you can get 2 of them on 1 card!

Create an Invitation Pocket

With the invitation and RSVP card complete I create a pocket to hold them.

I am using Stardream Metallic AMETHYST 105lb 8.5 x 11 Card Stock

Cut a piece of the Amethyst card stock to 5 1/2 x 11 inches and a piece to 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. I will also be using a die to create a decorative pocket. You can use a SVG file as an alternative.

Die cut the upper edge of the of the longer piece of card stock. The smaller piece will also be die cut, but with tabs to form a pocket.

Score the long piece of card at 7 inches from the bottom. Fold and burnish.

Scoring the tabs on the smaller pieces is done next. Add a strong double sided tape to the tabs and adhere to the bottom of the longer piece.

Make a Closure

Now that the pocket for the invitation and RSVP card is complete, we'll need to create a belly band for Iclosure.

I print the same floral image from the invitation and RSVP card onto Cougar White Smooth CardStock 8.5x11 . Using a circle die cut out a floral. A piece of amethyst card stock is cut to 1 x 11 inches. Score at 2 3/4 and 8 1/4 inches.

Add foam tape to the ends of the 1 x 11 inch amethyst strip and attach the circle die cut. This completes the belly band.

Add your invitation and RSVP card to the pocket and pull the belly band over. This project is complete!

I hope you like my DIY Wedding Invitations project and have given inspiration to try creating your own.

Let's Bounce Birthday Card

It's my day to share some inspiration for

With NCAA March Madness going on, I thought
a basketball themed card would be appropriate.
And, I went with a shaker card design!

Using

I started with stamping my images for my Let's Bounce Birthday Card and coloring with Prismacolor Pencils. Then I fussy cut!

My top fold card base measures 5 x 6 1/2 inches. The background papers are my own creation! Inking one with various colored green and yellow inks and creating circles with round sponge blenders and finger daubers. The other using a star embossing folder with inking. Both background papers have green mats.

To make my shaker I die cut a green banner shaped frame and a piece of acetate. Adhere the acetate to the frame. Add foam tape. The sentiment is from the All Occasion Flashcards set. I die cut it with a banner die, adhered to the frame on 3 sides, added star shaker elements and closed the 4th side. The shaker was then adhere to the card.

I added the Let's Bounce and Champion sentiments and the gold cup to complete!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my Let's Bounce Birthday Card project! I had so much fun creating it!

Easter Memory-Dex Cards

Hi there! I'm here today with my last Clear Scraps project for the month of March.

I have created a set of 3 Easter themed Memory-Dex Cards.

Products used for this project are the Rounded Tab Chipboard Dividers and the Faith Chipboard Punchout Embellishments.

I started by tracing the 3 chipboard dividers onto the backside of white card stock and cutting out. These pieces were adhered to the dividers

3 of the chipboard punchout embellishments were painted with white acrylic paint.

I started the 1st card by inking the top with blue ink.

Grass and tulips were die cut. I die cut the tulips with green and pink card stock for piecing.

The grass die cuts and bunny punchout were adhered. I pieced the tulips together.

The tulips were added along with a Spring dimensional sticker from my stash.

For the 2nd card I stenciled clouds on the white card stock.

Green card stock was cut with hill and grass dies.

The hill and grass die cuts were adhered to the card. I inked the edges of the cross punchout and die cut flowers.

The cross and flowers were added. I printed a sentiment and die cut. Pearls were added.

The 3rd card was left white. Leaves were die cut and adhered. I also die cut a pink scalloped circle.

3 Easter eggs were die cut. I punched flowers.

I glued the “Happy Easter” punchout to the scalloped circle and added to the card.

The flowers were adhered to the left side. Eggs were added to the right side.

All 3 cards are complete.

Thanks for checking out my project!

I’ll be back with more projects next month! Until then be sure and check out more Clear Scraps inspiration by following on social media.

Angel Prayers Just for You

Happy Friday!
I'm posting today on behalf of

My card was created with

I used the version of this sweet angel with flowers.
The image was colored with Castle Arts Pasteltint Pencils.
I added a bit of glitter glue to the halo and wings.
As is my usual, I fussy cut.
The card background is a die cut and embossed panel.
I added foam tape to the back of this panel before
matting with a matte silver card stock.
This matted panel was adhered to a piece of lavender card which
covers the white A2, top folding card.
I popped the angel with foam tape onto the card.
The sentiment was die cut.
I glued it to a piece of darker purple card, fussy cut and
adhered with foam tape to complete my card.

Thanks for taking a look at my card project.
I hope you have a great weekend.
