Cute Bear Advent Banner
Ok, I know today is the 4th of July and I should be sharing a patriotic project, but it’smtime to get a head start on holiday crafting!
Hi there! Today I'm sharing an advent banner project using a new product from Clear Scraps.
This is the Interchangeable Banner Advent Set. Included are 4-wood pennant shaped banners total, approx. size 4.0”x5.75”. 2 of the 4 wood banners come with ring to hold interchangeable discs. Use removeable glue dot to hold disc in place. Use wood glue to adhere the ring to wood banners with hole for the interchangeable disc placement. Also included in kit will be extra disc for each number. Total of 12 wood disc. 1- 5x8 chipboard number punch out set.
I decided to use digital papers and embellishments for my banner and found a cute scrapbook set on Etsy that included traditional red and green papers and cute bears for embellishment.
The first thing I did was print the papers I chose to use and traced the 2 solid banners onto the backside. I’ll be adding 2 papers on these, so I traced 1/2 of the banners on each paper. Cut papers.
Paint the edges of all 4 banner pieces with green acrylic paint.
Trace the banners with holes onto the backside of pattern paper. I also cut a rectangle piece of coordinating paper to go over the center. Cut papers.
Adhere papers to front of banners.
Paint the discs white, the 2 rings red and the chipboard numbers red.
Adhere the numbers to the discs.
Glue the rings to the banners with holes. I inserted number discs and added Happy Holiday die cuts in my photo below.
Add embellishments to the other 2 banner pieces.
Tie the banner together red ribbon and add numbered discs.
Thanks for taking a look at my Cute Bears Advent Banner project.

Yankee Doodle Day Card
My project starts by stamping 3 of the cute animals from Yankee Doodle Day Stamps. I color with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.
A piece of white card stock is cut to 4 x 5 1/4 inches for the background. Stamp the fireworks stamp 3 from the set 3 times with Versamark and heat emboss with a blue glitter embossing powder.
Die cut the letters USA with red card stock. Arrange them in the center of the white background. I add a strip of blue glitter card stock underneath the letters. Adhere the animals next to the letters.
A piece of blue glitter card stock is cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Adhere to a card base. Center the white piece onto the card.
Stamp the sentiment and cut with a label die. Attach a handcut banner strip out of blue glitter card stock to the top center of the card. Add the sentiment die cut on top to complete the card design.

Patriotic Wreath
Cardstock & Wreath Form
For this Patriotic Wreath I am using, of course, red, white and blue cardstock.
DCS Discount Cardstock: Smooth Red Wagon
Lessebo Colors NAVY BLUE Cardstock
To start you’ll want to make a wreath form. I am using a piece of cardboard. Find something round you can trace onto the cardboard for the outside edge. I used a plate. You’ll need a smaller circle shape to trace for the inside edge. A smaller plate works. Cut both circles.
My wreath form measures about 10 inches on the outside. The inner circle opening measures about 7 inches. You can go larger or smaller.
Wreath Components
Cut the cardstock into strips measuring 8 x 1 3/4 inches. I cut 6 blue, 8 red and 9 white pieces. You may cut more or less depending on the size of your wreath form.

Fall Home Decor Project
Have you seen all the New Release Products Clear Scraps has to offer this month?
Hi there! It’s Judy here with a fall home decor project created with 2 of those new products!
I am using one of the new DIY Wood Regular TagBox and a new set of Fall Chipboard Embellishments.
To,start I printed some fall themed digital papers.
I traced each of the wood pieces for the box onto the backside of the papers and cut.
I’m only going to apply paper to the outsides of each piece except for the back piece. Both sides, inside and out will be covered.
Adhere the papers to the old with Mod Podge.
Glue the wood piece together with wood glue to construct the box.
I will be applying minimal embellishments to the box. The chipboard pieces are painted with an acrylic paint.
The chipboard pieces are adhered.
Although, this is a “tag box”, I chose to use it for a floral arrangement. This is one of the things I love about Clear Scraps products. They can all be used in multiple ways!
I hope you like my home decor piece and I’ve inspired you to create something unique!
