Flower Power

Good morning!

We're having beautiful weather here in Colorado

which is a change from the last several weekends!

Today we have a new challenge starting at

I colored my image with glitter gel pens and pencils and fussy cut.

The image was popped on to die cut circles. The background was embossed.

I stamped the sentiment and die cut. The finishing touches were

the ribbon flowers and some pearls.

I created a tag using

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut.

May Inspiration at Cute As A Button

Hey everyone!

Today I'm  sharing a card on the

Cute As A Button Inspiration Showcase Blog.

I haven't made a baby card in a while and Francesca has
some great digis for a baby theme, so I chose to use
Baby Bear Buttons.

I gathered my materials.

I started by printing the image twice and coloring one of them.

I used a 12x12 piece of solid colored card stock,

circle and square cutting dies, an embossing folder and some ribbon.

The card stock was cut in half to create a 6x6 square card base.

I adhered a piece of white card stock.

I fussy cut the colored image.

I die cut the circles and embossed the white one.

The uncolored image was cut with a square die and matted.

I took the colored image and popped it on top of the uncolored die

and matted the embossed circle die cut.

The ribbon was adhered to a strip of colored card stock.

All the pieces were arranged and adhered to the card base.

I added the buttons and a bow to finish off.

Using Abi Ballerina from

All Dressed Up

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut.
My embossing was done with a Darice EF.
The scalloped circle was cut with a Sizzix die.
One of the butterflies was punched with a Martha Stewart punch
and the others are Dazzles stickers. I added some pearls to finish!

Cute As A Button Catwoman

Hi everyone!

I created a card using

Catwoman.

It was great fun playing with this image.

I just knew I had to add some gems with the bag of diamonds!

MHKDesigns May Inspiration

Hello all!

I'm so happy you've joined me today.

I have an inspiration post up at

MHKDesigns.

I created a card using a set called

Friendship.

This was a fairly easy card to create using

 a printed paper with flowers in the corner.

I took the coordinating all over flower print and fussy cut

some of the matching flowers in order to layer.

After coloring the image I die cut with a circle die

and framed with a scalloped circle die cut.

The sentiment is included in the set so I printed

and cut with a banner die. 

The finishing touches were to add the bow and some pearls!

I colored the image with pencil colors before fussy cutting.
Then I had the task of trying to find papers that would compliment
the colors I used. Normally, I'll decide on my papers before coloring
the image. But luckily I remembered I had a K & Company

paper pad and matching die cuts that worked out really well!
Then I added some glittery enamel dots and a bow to finish!
