Wood Love Banner
Create a charming, interchangeable wood banner perfect for Valentine’s Day, weddings, or year-round décor. This project features soft blush tones, stenciling, and a dimensional chipboard accent for a polished handmade look.
Clear Scraps Products
Paint the Banner Pieces
Apply an even coat of acrylic paint to all banner pieces. Let dry completely, then apply a second coat if needed for full coverage. Allow the pieces to dry thoroughly before moving on.
Stenciling
Position your heart or decorative stencil onto 4 of the banner pieces. Using a pallet knife apply even coats of texture paste. Carefully remove the stencil and allow the designs to dry.
Focal Banner
For the center banner, add paint to the wood ring. Paint the Love chipboard piece.
Once dry, adhere the ring to the center banner piece using wood glue.
Add Ribbon and Assemble
Thread gold ribbon through the pre-drilled holes at the top of each banner piece. Arrange the banners in your desired order and adjust spacing evenly. Tie knots or bows at the ends to secure.
Final Touches
Check for any areas that need touch-ups. Once everything is dry and secure, your banner is ready to hang on a mantel, shelf, or wall.
Finished Project
This elegant wood banner is perfect for seasonal decorating and can be easily customized by swapping out stencil designs or chipboard words. A beautiful handmade accent that adds warmth and personality to any space.

Happy Anniversary - We Just Go Together
Hey there! Judy V here sharing a fun and playful anniversary card that’s perfect for celebrating couples who truly just go together. This design came together with a mix of bold colors, sweet details, and a touch of whimsy.
The focal point of the card is the couple from Chuggin’ On Stamps toasting each other with their favorite drinks. I stamped them onto white card stock, colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.
Card Base
My card base measures 5 x 6 1/2 inches. I cut a 10 x 6 1/2 inch piece of white card stock. Score at 5 inches along the 10 inch side. Fold and burnish the sore line.
Card Background
I double mat a 4 5/8 x 6 1/8 inch piece of white card stock with black & red for the card background. Cut the black card stock to 4 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches. The red measures 5 x 6 1/2.
Adhere to the white card base.
Adding Layers
Cut a square piece of pattern paper from The Cat’s Meow Paper Pack. Mat with black card stock. The pops of red, pink, and white hearts add warmth and romance. The darker background helps the images stand out.
Hand cut or die cut a red banner for an accent and adhere to the patterned paper square.
Cut a white rectangular panel. Mat with black card stock and layer on top of the pattern paper and banner. Stamp hearts from the Mix & Match Celebration Sentiments onto the white panel.
Complete the Design
Adhere the couple to the rectangular panel with foam tape for a little dimension.
Add the sentiments.
Stamp “Happy Anniversary” from the Mix & Match Celebration Sentiments on white card stock. Cut with a circle die. Pair it with “We just go together” from Chuggin’ On Stamps. Stamp on white card stock and trim into a narrow rectangle with a black mat.
This card would be perfect for a favorite couple for several occasions.
Handmade cards can be impactful without being overly complicated. Sometimes a sweet scene and a thoughtful sentiment are all you need.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope this anniversary card inspires you to celebrate love, connection, and those perfect pairings in your own cardmaking projects!

The 3 1/4 inch is the top of the box that form the flaps.
Cut 2 pieces of 1 x 3 1/2 inch pieces of black card stock to form the pieces that fit inside the box to attach your elements. Score these at 1/2 inch, apply double sided tape.
Cut along the score line down to the horizontal score line. Fold and burnish on each score line.
Fold the scored pieces to form the box and attach the 1/2 scored piece to the inside with double sided tape.
Add the 2 1/4 x 6 inch piece of patterned paper to the inside back panel of the box.
The 2 pieces of 1/2 wide black card stock were scored at 1/2 & 3 inches to form tabs to be adhered inside the box.
