I am using Lovely Bouquet Stamps for this card. This clear stamp set includes one large floral, and two smaller floral images, along with two sentiments. Sentiments include Happy Mother's Day and I love you It is appropriate many occasions.
Before I start my project I know I want to use the large image and back it with inking.
I stamp onto white card stock and color with Prismacolor Pencils. And, of course, as is my usual, fussy cut.
Ink blending with pink and yellow inks on a white card stock will serve as my background. I trim the panel down to 3 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches. Cut a 1 1/2 x 6 1/4 strip of white card stock on one edge with a border die. Adhere the white strip to the right side of the inked panel and add yellow ribbon where the 2 pieces come together. Pop the floral image onto the panel with foam tape.
Add the panel to a green 5 x 6 1/2 inch card base.
I stamp the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment on white card stock and trim to a narrow strip. Adhere near the bottom of the card.
To finish, I add Knock Out Pink Rhinestones.
Just beautiful, Judy. Love your planning and the ink blending! Thanks for linking your card in the "Mark Your Mark" Challenge on the Addicted to Stamps & More Blog. Cathy ATS&M DT
