Oh, I’ve been perusing Pinterest again and saw some beautiful cards created with circle punches.
Hey there! It’s Judy V here from Created Just 4 U with my first CutCardStock project for 2024. This circle punch card was so fun to play with and I love the way it turned out. If you have a lot of card stock and patterned paper scraps this is a great way to use them.
Materials
I pulled out some pretty patterned card stock and some solids to co-ordinate.
Pop Tone SNO CONE Discount Card Stock

DCS Discount Card Stock: Peach
Chalkboard Prints 6×6 Card Stock Pad Assortment
Bazzill Canvas Texture Monochromatic Peach
Flower, Foliage and Sentiment Dies
1 Inch Circle Punch
Pearls
Adhesive
Card Base
My top folding, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card base was cut from Sno Cone.
A piece of the Cougar White was cut to 4 x 5 1/4 inches.
Next I cut 32, 1 inch circles with a punch out of all the card stocks except the white.
The circles are adhered to the white card piece starting at the bottom and going across the 4 inch width. A new layer goes on over the first by staggering over the first layer.
Continue adding in this fashion until you have 8 layers done.
Add a 1/2 x 4 inch piece of pink card stock over the top layer of circles.
Adhere the finished piece to the sno cone card base.
Floral and foliage pieces were die cut.
I added some inking to the die cut pieces for a little dimension and added to the card.
The sentiment was die cut and adhered.
Pearls were added to finish.
Thanks so much for giving my project a look.

Fabulous! I love this idea and your design - simple but with a big impact, and a great way to use up some scrap paper. Thanks for playing with us at A Place To Start.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great design! Love the layered punched circles, a lovely effect. The papers and colours are beautiful and so is the flower cluster topper. Thank you for joining us at Crafty Calendar.
