Thanksgiving Place Card

I can not believe that it is already November! And that means the holidays will be here before we know it. Are you ready?

Hey there! I have a cute little turkey Thanksgiving place card project created with a variety of card stock from CutCardStock. These would be fun to add to your dinner table if you are hosting this year. They are pretty easy to create using dies that aren’t particularly Thanksgiving themed dies. Chances are you have dies in your collection that will work to make these.

I pulled out some fall colored card stocks.

DCS Discount 8.5×11 Card Stock: Smooth Sand Castle TanDCS Discount Card Stock: Vanilla Bean Brown DCS Discount Card Stock: Textured Flame Tree OrangePop Tone ORANGE FIZZ 8.5×11 Discount Card StockBasis 8.5×11 BURGUNDY 80lb CardstockLessebo Colors Premium SUNFLOWER YELLOW Cardstock and a small piece of Basis NATURAL 80lb 8.5×11 inch Discount Cardstock

Three die sets were used. One is a set of nesting flowers. A snowman die set and nesting circle dies were also used. I did use a 4th, a label die for the banner with name added, but it can be hand cut.

Six flowers were cut using 3 sizes, 2 of each. The largest I used is approximately 4 inches and the smallest is about 2 1/2 inches. Cut 2 circles for the turkey body, about 2 inches and 1 3/8 inches. I used the snowman die set for the hat, eyes, beak and feet.

A base was created with a piece of 5 x 3 1/2 inch piece of card, scored at 2 1/2 inches along the 5 inch side and folded in half.

Layer the flower die cuts from largest to smallest. Foam tape was used for a little dimension. I also creased the center of each flower petal.

Assemble the turkey. The “waddle” piece was hand cut.

Adhere the layered flower piece to the base. Add the turkey and name label.

I appreciate you taking the time to check out my Thanksgiving Place Card project.

I colored one of the b/w images with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.
A little glitter glue was added for some sparkle.
Each of the images are also available pre-colored.
I layered a couple of those under my hand colored poinsettias.
One of the sentiments was printed and framed with a die cut and embossed frame.
The addition of some metallic and glitter card stock help make the card elegant.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
