Hi there! It’s Judy here with my first Guest Designer project for Tres Jolie Kit Club for the month of September.
I am using this month’s Card’s Tags and More Kit. This kit includes 6, 8 x 8 double sided papers and 3 sheets of toppers from Katy Sue Designs.
There’s also a pack of Prima Flowers, Wood Embellishments from…
A cutting die from Frantic Stampers, a yard of lace and 8 A4 sheets of white card stock.
My project is An Elegant Triple Easel Card.
I started by die cutting 3 shaped card bases using the card stock included in the kit. These cards are 3 different sizes, a large, medium and small. You can just create 3 square cards if you do not have shaped dies.
I also pulled out one of the topper sheets and will use one for each card, again in a large, medium and small size.
The inside edges of each card were inked with a metallic gold ink pad.
Next I did some more die cutting.
Red card stock was cut and added to the inside of each card.
Gold foil card stock was die cut for each card front.
Red rectangles were cut to add to the card fronts.
The gold die cuts were adhered to the bottom half of the card fronts and the red rectangles layered over them.
I die cut a piece of white card stock to layer onto the red die cut inside the large card.
Next I die cut gold circles to add to the card fronts before adding the adhering the toppers.
To finish the largest card I fussy cut some flowers from one of the patterned papers to the inside to act as the easel “stopper”.
A sentiment was die cut and adhered to the front and the fussy cut flowers were added to the inside with foam tape for the stopper piece.
Now to finish the 2 smaller cards.
I took one of the cut apart pieces and fussy cut more flowers. These will be combined with one of the wooden embellishments from the kit to act as the stoppers.
The wooden embellishment piece was painted with green metallic paint which came from last month’s Mixed Media Kit. It was cut into 2 pieces once the paint dried.
Add one of the wooden pieces and some of the fussy cut flowers to the medium size card.
Embellishments are added to the smallest card.
Adhere the medium card to the right corner of the large card.
Add the small card to the left corner of the large card.
This side by side triple easel card is complete.
