Love Bears Canvas

Hey there everyone!

I am so happy to have been asked to

join the Imagine That Digistamp Facebook DT

after spending the month of January as a Guest Designer!

There are some fun new sets available this month at

Imagine That Digistamp

with Valentine themes. They will all be sure to get

your creative juices going!

I knew when I saw this cute Love Bears set along with
Beary in Love Papers and Beary in Love Kit
that I wanted to create a canvas.

 

I colored the bear love image with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

I painted the 7x14 inch canvas with acrylic paint.

Two of the papers were printed and glued to a red mat

 and all was decopauged to the canvas. I added a third paper

on the both sides of the matted papers and sealed with the

decoupage medium. The images on the right side of the

canvas are from the elements set. I resized and recolored

the hearts. the flower swag was resized and cut into 3 pieces,

then popped with foam tape for some dimension.

I added some layered paper flowers on the left side

for a little balance and finished by adding pearls.

Valentine

Hello all!

We have a new monthly challenge up at

I created a Valentine card using Cupid.

I did some embossing with a Darice EF.

My papers are from Recollections.

The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and 

Fiskars gel pens.

I added some silver sickles.

Time for a new challenge at

Crafty Gals Corner!

This week our theme is Sweethearts.

It doesn't have to be Valentine's, just add a heart!

Using Snowflake Fairy from

While i was trying to figure out what kind of project to

do this week I saw a 6 inch doily sitting in front of me

and thought it would make a great background for 

the beautiful image I got to work with.

So I took a 6 x 12 inch piece of white card stock

and folded it in half. I glued the doily to the center 

and cut around the edges.  I fussy cut the image,

which I colored with Spectrum Noir pencils and Fiskars gels pens.

I added a litter shimmer to the wings with a clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen.

 I then popped the image onto the doily. I computer generated the sentiment

and die cut with a Sizzix oval framelits die.

The hearts and flourishes I used are Dazzles stickers

from Hot Off the Press.

I love the way the completed project turned out!

Cute As A Button January Release

It's the 10th of the month and that means new releases from

Cute As A Button!

Francesca has outdone herself with a great
assortment of "Valentine" or "Love" themed digis.

This one is called "Heart Bow".

I colored with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.
The white and pink ovals were cut with Sizzix framelits dies.
The sentiment banner was cut with Sizzix Banners 2 die.
The red oval was punched with a multi punch called "Love Story".
My papers, and embellishments are Recollections.

Yep, I think we are all in full Valentine's mode!

At least all the stores are. Have you noticed?

As soon as the Christmas stuff came down,

the Valentine stuff went up!

Oh well, I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers

and fussy cut. There's a surprise for you - I fussy cut!!!

I think I have an obsession with fussy cutting!

My doily, DP and heart gem are from Recollections.

My hearts were cut with an old Sizzix Originals die

and my bow is made with Offray ribbon.
