Hoppy Easter Card

Easter will be here soon and I have a cute “Hoppy Easter Card” to share.

Hey there! It’s Judy here with my latest CutCardStock inspiration project. Do you make Easter cards? I always make a few each year. Doing so makes me look forward to spring and I am ready for spring!

Card Stock

This little card is fairly easy to put together. I am using a variety of card stock in spring colors and dies.

DCS Discount Card Stock: Blue Calico Discount Card Stock

Pop Tone GRAPE JELLY Discount Card Stock

Lessebo Colors Premium AMETHYST Discount Cardstock

Lessebo Colors Premium Bubble Gum Pink Discount Cardstock

Basis Soft Pink Card Stock

DCS Discount Card Stock: Canvas Textured Mantis Green Card Stock

Pop Tone BANANA SPLIT Discount Card Stock

Cougar White Smooth CardStock

DCS Discount Card Stock: Black Card Stock

Die Cutting

All of the pieces of this card are die cuts. I am starting with the bunny. The dies I am using are from the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for February 2025, Dancing’ Hoppy Bunnies Everywhere.

Cougar White Smooth CardStock is for cutting the bunny’s body, legs and arms. Cutting Basis Soft Pink Card Stock for ears and cheeks and a small scrap of DCS Discount Card Stock: Black Card Stock for eyes and nose.

I am putting together a girl bunny, so I cut a dress and bow out of Lessebo Colors Premium AMETHYST Discount Cardstock.

Before assembling the bunny I am inking the edges of her body, arms and legs with gray ink. Adding the facial and ear pieces is next.

Piecing the rest of the bunny is next.

Die cutting some eggs is the next step using the same Spellbinders set above.

I am using DCS Discount Card Stock: Blue Calico Discount Card Stock , Pop Tone BANANA SPLIT Discount Card Stock and Lessebo Colors Premium Bubble Gum Pink Discount Cardstock.

Die cut the background pieces.

Pop Tone GRAPE JELLY Discount Card Stock and Pop Tone BANANA SPLIT Discount Card Stock create tiny flowers.

The sentiment is also cut from the Spellbinders set with DCS Discount Card Stock: Blue Calico Discount Card Stock.

I die cut clouds and a fence out of Cougar White Smooth CardStock with dies from Newtons Nook.

The grass die is from Newtons Nook as well. Cut it with the DCS Discount Card Stock: Canvas Textured Mantis Green Card Stock.

Card Assembly

I am creating a. card base net with a 6 1/2 x 10 inch piece of DCS Discount Card Stock: Blue Calico Discount Card Stock. Score a 5 inches along the 10 inch side and fold.

Now that we have all of our die cuts and card base, let’s assemble.

We start with the cloud and 3 of the 4 grass die cuts.

Adhere 4th grass die cut and the fence next.

The cute little bunny goes on.

Eggs are next.

To complete, I add the sentiment and randomly add the flowers.

I am really happy with my cute “Hoppy Easter Card” and hope you like it!
