Dreaming of Springtime?

Okay, I must be dreaming of springtime.  It's been snowing here all afternoon
so you'd think I'd be inspired to come up with a more winter themed
card, but no I came up with this one!

I wanted to link up with the challenge at Beccy's Place,
where you need to use one of her images to do so.
I had this one which I won last month
and thought it would work well with the color combo at colourQ.

I printed the image on white card stock, colored with spectrum noir
pencil colors, fussy cut and added to the die cut ovals.
I did a little bit of dry embossing, stamped a sentiment and
finished up with some enamel dots.
And there you have it. Springtime!
Boy, that's really wishful thinking. It's only January
and I live in Colorado!
Anyway, hope you all have a great rest of the weekend.

I'm also linking up to:

Thanks for taking a look!

  1. I think the exact same thought popped into our head as your card totally made me wish for summer. Although, the -15 degree weather with a -32 degree windchill is already making me wish for summer. Sigh* Very lovely use of those colors!

  3. I love the colour combo you used Judy, it's so bright and cheerful and perfect for a spring card. The paper combination is wonderful. I really like the embossing on the green cardstock and the lovely scalloped oval you used to frame the image. Great job!
    Cheers,
