Ink Blended Encouragement Card

Hey there!

Today I'm sharing my latest CutCardStock project.

This time around I did a little ink blending on an encouragement card. I also did some stamping and die cutting.

Materials

Cougar White Smooth CardStockLessebo Colors Premium AMETHYST 83lb Discount CardstockLessebo Colors AUBERGINE 83lb Cardstock,                                              Lessebo Colors HUNTER GREEN 83lb Cardstock

Circle Dies, Butterfly/Foliage Dies, Wreath and Sentiment Stamp

Ribbon

Adhesive

Card Base

I created a 5 x 6 1/2 inch card base by taking a piece of 6 1/2 x 10 inch piece of Amethyst Card Stock, scoring at 5 inches along the 10 inch side and folding. A piece of Aubergine Card Stock was cut to 4 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches.

Cougar White Card Stock was cut to 4 5/8 x 6 1/8 inches.

Choose 3 coordinating ink pads and apply and blend diagonally from lower to upper corners until you’re happy with the blend.

Embellishing

Die cut butterfly and foliage pieces. I did so twice in Hunter Green and Amethyst and pieced together. Some inking was also done on these.

Circle frames were die cut and layered. These were used as a guide for placement of the stamped wreath and sentiment onto the inked card.

The frame was adhered around the stamping.

I added a ribbon and bow to the left side of the inked card before matting and layering onto the card base.

Add the die cuts to finish. I added pearls to the butterflies.

Thanks for checking out my ink blended encouragement card project!
