Hey there! It’s Judy V here with you today sharing a greeting card gift set project created with card stocks from CutCardStock.
Materials
For this project I have used:
Basis WHITE 80lb Card-stock
DCS Discount Card Stock: Black Card Stock
Chalkboard Prints 6×6 Card Stock pad – Assortment – 36 sheets
Die sets, stamping ink, gel pen, liquid adhesive, double sided tape adhesive, score board and bone folder
Card Bases
My set includes 6 cards with bases cut from card stock.
Die Cuts
My die cutting was done next.
I inked the flowers and leaves on the white unicorn die cuts. Using a silver glitter gel pen I outlined the unicorn head.
The white unicorn die cuts were adhered to the black to give an outline effect.
Assembling the Cards
6 banners were hand cut from a patterned card stock for the cards. I also cut a 7th later for the front of the folio that holds the card set.
Add the banners, circle die cuts, unicorn pieces and sentiments.
A white panel can be added to the inside of the card for messages.
Card Set Holder
I decided to make a holder for the card set and went with a folio style.
Start with a 9 x 12 inch piece of card stock. I used Basis White card stock, but am showing a colored card stock in my photos.
Score at 1/2, 1, 5 1/2, 6 1/2, 11 & 11 1/2 inches
Turn to short side and score at 6 1/4 & 6 3/4 inches
Cut along the 1 & 11 inch score lines on the long side down to the 6 3/4 inch score lines and remove.
In the center cut along the 5 1/2 & 6 1/2 inch score lines from the 6 1/4 inch down to the bottom.
Fold along the 2 score lines in the center, lower and outer edges. Adhere as seen in the photo below.
Two 1/2 inch deep pockets are formed to hold cards and envelopes.
The finished folio measure 4 1/2 x 6 1/4 x 1 inch.
A piece of ribbon about 18 inches long was adhered to the front and back cover.
I added a piece of the patterned card stock measuring 4 x 5 1/4 inches for the front. A banner and die cut circle were added with flowers fussy cut and inked from another piece of patterned card stock.
Add your cards and envelopes
I hope you have enjoyed my Greeting Card Gift Set project!
