Out of My Comfort Zone

I saw on the Rick St. Dennis facebook page that there is a DT call
going on.  I recently discovered how much I love his images.
They are so different and so fun to play with.
So I thought I would give it a try.

They are asking for 2 projects. One cute and one dark
Now dark is far from anything I usually create, but it's good to step out of your 
comfort zone and try something new every once in a while, is it not?
Maybe you'll find you really like something you had no idea
you would or could like I did!

Here's what I came up with.


This is my "cute" entry using
Easter Bonnet Bunny


and


my "dark" entry using
Parfum du Mort Skull


Images for both cards were printed on white card stock, colored with
Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.

I'm really pleased with the way both of these cards turned out.
Now, let's see what else I can come up with.

    WOW Judy both of these creations are awesome!! I love that bunny image and all of the purples, your coloring is gorgeous! Fabulous design on your 'dark' card too... I love how the flowers around the skull just pop with color! Best of luck with the DT call!

    What a great Easter card Judy! Love that rabbit and the bling you added to her outfit! So like the layers with the doily too- has a perfect Easter look!     I think both your projects are absolutely fabulous. The Easter bunny and all those lovely flowers are so pretty, so elegant. And I just love the skull easel card. Great colouring on both.
