House of Cards August Challenge

Hello there!

Well, it's the 1st of August and that means

we have a new challenge up at

House of Cards!

But before we get to that-

We are having a DESIGN TEAM CALL! 

If you are interested in joining our team, please send an email to

You would be responsible for creating 1 card per month

using the photo prompt and/or colors as inspiration,

plus assigned commenting and voting for TOP 5. 

This month's challenge is to

Use Patterned Paper and/or Colors

I used paper tole products and patterned paper

 from Paper Wishes for my DT card.

These products are great for designing quick and easy cards

and I love the layering!

I did some dry embossing and added, ribbon, a bow and some enamel dots.

Morgan's ArtWorld August Challenge

Hey there!

We have a new challenge up at

Morgan's Artworld Open Challenge.

"Anything Goes"

This challenge is open to any Image or Projects

and runs from August 1st - August 27th.

I created a card using

"Wedding Bride with Flowers and Shoe".

You can find her HERE.

The beautiful bride image was colored with pencils,

with a little glitter glue added, before fussy cutting.

I created a frame with Spellbinder die cuts.

Added a gold paper doily and 

completed the design with a bow and pearls.

Digi Doodle Studios GDT Project

Hi there!

Today I get to share another one of my GDT projects fpr

Digi Doodle Studios!

I created a pop up box card using

"Eden Light".

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils,

fussy cut and added some glitter glue to the wings.

I created a 2 1/2" square x 7" box card.

The panels and flaps were covered with digital papers.

I downloaded and printed a rainbow clip art piece.

I die cut clouds and inked the edges before

adding all pieces with acetate strips to the inside of the box.

I later decided to added some punched butterflies.

The sentiment was computer generated and 

die cut in an oval shape before adding to a die cut label piece.

You can enter using any Image but there is special incentive to use a Digi Doodle Studios Image.

Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge # 30

Happy Friday once again!

We have a new challenge up at

Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge.
The theme is always "Anything Goes"
and any images are allowed.

I used a B/W image, papers, embellishments and word art from

"Winnie Special Moments - Big Kahuna Digi Kit Download"

I colored Winnie with Spectrum Noir Markers & Colourblend Pencils.

She was fussy cut and popped onto a die cut oval.

I also fussy cut the flower embellishments and layered.

I created banner tags with the word art and

added enamel dots and a bow to finish my design.

Sweet as Candy

Hey there!

I have a card to share today using

"Sweet As Candy",

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut

before popping onto layered die cuts and paper doily.

Be a Flamingo

Happy Saturday!

Hope everyone's weekend is going well!

I'm spending mine at our cabin up in the mountains

and decided to do a little crafting, even though

I have minimal supplies with me.

I do have my laptop, a printer and some white and black cardstock

and was able to put together this card using

a digital stamp, digital paper and sentiment from

Imagine That Digistamp.

"Flamingo Beach"

I colored the flamingo with Spectrum Noir pencils and fussy cut.

The digital paper is included in the same set as the image and sentiment.

The flowers I used as embellishments are free clip art I found

online and added a little more color to with the pencils and fussy cut.

Minimal materials, cute card!

Maybe I don't need all those supplies I have at home after all!
