Love is in the Air at Glitter 'N' Sparkle

Happy Valentine's Day!

"Love is in the Air".

Here's the card I created.
Using: Love Is from

I colored this sweet image with Spectrum Noir pencils,
fussy cut and popped on Sizzix die cut circles.
The DP is Colorbok.
I added some Recollections flowers and gems
and stamped the sentiment.

Sweethearts at Crafty Gals Corner

Happy Wednesday!

Time for a new challenge at

This week our theme is Sweethearts.
It doesn't have to be Valentine's, just add a heart!

Using Snowflake Fairy from

                                               Our sponsor this week

                                                  MoonFlower Digi's

While i was trying to figure out what kind of project to
do this week I saw a 6 inch doily sitting in front of me
and thought it would make a great background for
the beautiful image I got to work with.
So I took a 6 x 12 inch piece of white card stock
and folded it in half. I glued the doily to the center
and cut around the edges.  I fussy cut the image,
which I colored with Spectrum Noir pencils and Fiskars gels pens.
I added a litter shimmer to the wings with a clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen.
I then popped the image onto the doily. I computer generated the sentiment
and die cut with a Sizzix oval framelits die.
The hearts and flourishes I used are Dazzles stickers
from Hot Off the Press.

I love the way the completed project turned out!

We'd love to see your Sweethearts project at

Thanks for taking a look!

Cute As A Button February Release

Time for the release of some new digis at
I decided to do a 12 x 12 layout using
"Diner Dash".

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir pencils and fussy cut.
The banners were stamped and die cut using the Sizzix Banners 2
stamp and die set. I used Spellbinders and Sizzix circle dies.
The borders were punched with a Fiskars punch.
The letters in the title were cut with Sizzix Sizzlits dies.
I added some buttons with twine to finish up.

So, I hope you check out what the rest of the DT
did with this and the other new images on the
Cute As A Button Challenge Blog.
And if you have some
Cute As A Button
images of your own we would love to see your
projects on our
Cute As A Button Facebook Group.

Thanks for taking a look!
