Hey there! It’s Judy V here sharing a bright and cheerful Ladybug Love Shaker Card project featuring the Ladybug Gift Card Holder Die from Pajama Crafter Stamps. This card is full of playful dimension, sparkle and fun movement. It’s perfect for sending a happy hello to someone special!
I start my project by creating a 5 x 6 1/2 inch bold red card base to really make the design pop.
Cut a black piece of cardstock measuring 4 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches for a mat.
Next I cut a soft pink grid patterned paper to 4 5/8 x 6 1/8 inches for the background.
Fashion a rectangular frame with dies in a red pattern and black for the shaker element.
Cut 2 flowers from the Ladybug die set out of red and pink card stock. Layer in an offset fashion. I also die cut the lady bug and “Hi!” sentiment and shadow from the set.
Putting it all Together
Adhere the black mat and pink pattern paper to the card base.
Add a piece of acetate to the backside of the shaker frame.
Apply foam tape around the edges.
I remove the foam tape liner on 3 sides of the the frame. Adhere to the card at an angle.
Pour Opalescence Confetti Embellihments inside the frame and adhere the foam tape on the open side.
Finishing
I add the flower and ladybug on the bottom of the shaker frame.
This card would be great for birthdays, thinking-of-you notes, or simply to send a little sunshine through the mail.
