Spring

Hey it's Friday!

I thought I would share a card created with new products from

Polkadoodles.

 

It's not quite Spring yet where I am in Colorado, but I can hope it's here soon.

This is my interpretation of Spring using

Leafy Craft Card Making Stencil

Hearts and Flowers Butterfly Stamp 2

This card style is quite different from my usual crafting style but,

I quite enjoyed playing with these stamps and stencil.

I inked the background using the stencil and 3 colors of green ink pads.

A few splatters of sparkle pen and 2 strips of green card stock were added.

The flowers were stamped, colored with Castle Art Pencils and fussy cut.

The sentiment was stamped to complete my design.

Happy Thursday! 

 I'm sharing some Stampers Delights DT inspiration with you today!

 My card features one of the digis exclusive to the Stampers Delights Digital Stamp and Coloring Club. This is just one of 3 clubs you can join to get access to exclusive Stampers Delights digis.

I have used "Pan Archer" for my card. He was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.

The background was created by stamping various "grunge" type stamps in browns and blues to mimic rocks, a hillside and the sky. A sentiment was stamped on the upper portion of the stamped panel. It was adhered to a brown card base. a dark brown strip was added to the left side. "Pan Archer" was popped with foam tape onto the card.

Hello there!

Popping in today with a Polkadoodles card made with  

Eggcited Chick.

This cute digi is just one of the products included in the

Spring into Easter Printable Downloads.

My card design is fairly simple.

I die cut the shaped card base, grass and a fence.

The digi was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.

The blue background is one of the papers from

Spring into Easter Printable Craft Paper Patterns Set 3.

I used one of the sentiments from

Spring into Easter Messages.

Happy Monday!

I hope you all are having a great start to your week.

I'm working on some DT projects and wanted to

share one I created for one of my DT projects for

Conie Fong Art & Design.

Using Penelope Poppy

Loved coloring up this sweet digi with Prismacolor Pencils.

My card background was done with a piece of white card stock

inked with blue, green and pink inks and placing a die cut and embossed piece over.

A piece of ribbon was added and tied into a bow.

The digi was fussy cut and popped with foam tape.

The sentiment was die cut.

Daffodil Bunny

Hello there!

I am sharing a card created with a new digi from

Conie Fong Art & Design!

Rabbit Holding Daffodil

The digi was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.

It is popped onto a decorative die cut frame and flanked by 2 plain frames.

A slim piece of yellow card stock is weaved through the frames.

I created the background by embossing with an embossing folder and

lightly inking over the raised portions.

The sentiment was die cut.

2 green pearls were added for embellishment.

Triple Easel Card

Hey there! Today I'm sharing a Triple Easel Card project created for CutCrdStock.

My card design is a little different from a typical triple easel. I used the Gemini “Happily Ever After” Create-A-Card die set, which would usually be used to create a shadow box style card. I thought it would work great for my project as I like using die sets in different ways.

Die Cutting

Start by die cutting 3 circle shaped cards out of Stardream Metallic FAIRWAY (green) 105lb 8.5 x 11 Card Stock. This is a nice heavyweight card and worked beautifully for the card bases. The cards measure 4 1/2, 4 and 3 inches.

Pieces from the “Happily Ever After” die set were cut using Stardream Metallic CRYSTAL (white) 105 lb Card Stock, Cougar White Smooth Card Stock,  DCS Discount Card Stock: Smooth Sand Castle Tan and DCS Canvas Textured Shadow Gray Discount Card Stock. I also die cut 2 circles measuring 4 1/2 and 3 1/4 inches 2 measuring 2 1/2 inches out of the Cougar White. 

Each of the pieces were colored with pencil, glitter pen and/or inked.

Card Bases

Take the 3 green die cut cards and fold the top in half on each to form the easel base.

The die cut pieces were added to each card. Mini roses were added to the largest card.

Assembly

Take the middle sized card and attach the back to the inside back, middle of the largest card. The middle card acts as the stop for the largest card front. Do the same for the smallest card adhering to the middle card.

Finishing

A sentiment was stamped, die cut and added to the inside base of the smallest card with foam tape to act as the stop.

It's New Release Day at

There are 4 new digi sets in shop and I have chosen to make a card using

Easter Rabbit Trio Bindle

I printed these sweet bunnies on white card stock and colored with Prismacolor Pencils.

This piece was trimmed to 4 3/4 x 6 inches.

I used stencils from Newton's Nook to create the background with inks.

The sentiment was stamped with a stamp from Great Impressions.

Card for Mother's Day

Happy Saturday!

It's time for this week's

Polkadoodles Craft Challenge!

The DT was asked to create cards for Mother's Day.

My Mother's Day card was created with Dahlia Flower 1. 

I colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut, before 

placing in a die cut frame. The background patterned paper

is from Dahlia Flower 2 Download. I die cut the sentiment.

The Dahlia Flower 1 and Dahlia Flower 2 are two of

the Digi Deals which are great small bundles that contain

all you need to create great projects.

Wonderland White Rabbit

Hi there! 

Today I'm sharing my first inspiration post for the month of March with Stampers Delights. 

I have created a card using a "White Rabbit" digi which is available to you with membership in the Wonderland Digital Stamp Club. 

This is just one of 4 clubs you can join to get access to exclusive Stampers Delights digis.

I colored the digi with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut. She is popped with foam tape onto a patterned paper background. The paper is from a Recollections paper pad. The flowers on this paper were actually white or very light colored but, I wanted some color and added with pencils. I stamped the sentiment using a stamp set from Crafter's Companion.

Hello there!

Sharing a rocker card project today.

I've used a new digi from

Polkadoodles.

In the Nest Chick

This digi is part of the

Spring into Easter Printable Craft Downloads.

I colored this cutie with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.

The card base was die cut. 

I used a patterned paper on the card base from

Spring into Easter Printable Paper Patterns Set 1.

A scalloped and layered circle was die cut and

I popped the digi onto it with foam tape.

It was added to the card. The sentiment was printed from

Spring into Easter Messages.

It was cut with an oval die.

I added a bow and flower.

Ellie Bouquet

 Hello there!

Today I'm sharing a DT project created for

Conie Fong Art & Design.

I have used an adorable digi called

Ellie Bouquet.

This cutie is appropriate for just about any occasion.

The image was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.

I created a background with a cut and emboss folder from Crafter's Companion. 

I inked the raised portion of the embossing with various inks.

The die cuts along both sides were done with ribbon threading from Crafter's Companion.

Instead of threading ribbon through I simply added some glitter dots.

I stamped the sentiment which is also from Crafter's Companion.
