Christmas Gift Card Holders

Hey!
Today I'm over on the
sharing a set of 3 gift card holders
I created using 4 die sets from
Dies R Us.

I started by putting together the gift card holder itself
using a piece of 3.5 x 8.5 inch piece of patterned card stock.
I scored on the long edge at 2 & 6 inches.
I folded at the 6 inch score and adhered on the 2 sides to create
the pocket that holds the gift card.
I folded on the 2 inch score to create the top flap of the gift card holder.

Next, I used the dies to cut the pieces used to decorate the holders
using white card stock and metallic red and green card stocks.

I added velcro under the upper flap to secure the holder closed
and a "Merry Christmas" sticker along the lower front edge.

Each of the dies I've used are linked

November Designer Inspiration - Cute As a Button

Hi there!
I'm over on the
Cute As A Button Inspiration Showcase
with my project share for this month!

I was in Dollar Tree a few weeks ago
and picked up some unfinished holiday signs.
I thought sure I could use them, in some way,
for some of my paper crafting projects.
So, I came up with a wreath, using one of those signs,
a chipboard wreath form and this image from

I colored the image with Prismacolor Premier Pencils and fussy cut.
I painted the wreath form and the wood sign with acrylic paints.
I adhered the sign to the wreath with hot glue.
Next I hot glued greenery, berry picks and metallic pipe cleaners
to the lower edge of the wreath.
The image and a bow were added and I decided to
add a few more berries on the upper portion of the wreath.

I hope you like my project and

Christabelle

Hi there!
Today is my day to provide a little inspiration from

I love creating Christmas cards, but
sometimes I like playing with other types of crafts.
So, for this project I altered a bottle using

I colored the image with SN Markers and fussy cut.
I had some pretty patterned paper, I thought would be
the perfect background for this digi, that has snowflakes
and some sparkle. I traced a circle onto the back of
the paper and tore around the edges before gluing
to the bottle. Then, I came upon a die cut I had in my stash
and decided it would work great on the lower edge of the bottle.
After adding the image I started adding greenery, berry picks
and some glittery pipe cleaners. The finishing touches were
a bow and shimmering snowflake.
I love the way this turned out!

I hope I've provided some inspiration for you
and that you'll check out all the fabulous products at

Merry Christmas in Blue

Hey there!
I'm over on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog today
to share a Christmas Card I created combining
dies from Memory Box and Precious Marieke.
If you've not checked out the products available at
you need to!

I gathered my materials to include the 4 die sets I used
plus a 5.5 x 5.5 inch card base, patterned paper,
a blue matte metallic card stock, green metallic card stock,
white card stock and some iridescent glitter glue.

Next, I did my die cutting.
I cut the frame and sentiment out of the blue card stock.
I cut the candle die 3 times, using the white, blue and green card stocks.
I cut 1 large flower, 3 medium and small flowers.

I assembled the candles using the white die cut as a base
and adhered the blue next. With the green, I snipped off the
candle portion, just leaving the foliage and
adhered to the blue layer. I ended up coloring the
flames of the candles with gold glitter gel pen.
I then layered the flowers, making 1 large and 2 medium sized,
using brads with gem centers.
I added some glitter glue to the flowers of a little sparkle.

Next, I assembled the card base by matting the patterned paper
with the blue matte metallic card stock and adhering to the card base.

Next I added the frame to the background
and layered the candles on the bottom edge.

I added the flowers to the candle foliage
and lastly, cut and matted a thin strip
of white card stock, adhered the sentiment
and applied to the lower portion of the card.
