Mermaid Canvas

Hey all!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Today I would like to share a mixed media canvas

I put together using a new set from

Beccy's Place.

using Mermaid Set by Madison Muir

I used a variety of mediums and materials

on this 10x10 inch canvas including,

pencil colors, stickles, shimmer mists, acrylic paint, inks, gesso, texture paste,

Glitter gel pens, wood pieces, chipboard, die cuts, beads, parts a bracelet,

paper flowers, mesh, foam tape and sticker dots.

I took an ordinary composition book and
covered it with card stock and DP.
The image was colored with pencils
and framed with Dazzles stickers.
The title is chipboard to which I added glitter.

August at Cute As A Button

Happy August all!

We have a new challenge starting today at

Cute As A Button!

As always our theme is
Anything Goes!

using  A Good Book and a Cup of Tea

I thought this image would be perfect

to use on the cover of a journal,

so I took a composition book and turned it into one!

The bow on the side ties it closed.

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut.

The title is chipboard which I primed with gesso

and painted with acrylic paint.

I added a dazzles sticker above the steam from the cup.

The finishing touch was the enamel dots.
