I colored the image with pencils to coordinate with papers
I chose from the A Day at the Beach paper pad from the Paper Studio.
The sun was die cut with the Life is a Beach Cricut Cartridge.
My flower embellishments are from K&Company.

HOC July 2016 Challenge

Well here we go, the start of another new month!

That means we have a new challenge starting today at

House of Cards.

We have a photo/color prompt to be used as inspiration.

Fruit/Drink Image and/or Colors

I used the colors and photo as my inspiration.

The image was colored with pencils and fussy cut.

I die cut the circles and embossed. The sentiment was stamped.

I added buttons with enamel dots to finish up.

Hey all!

It's Sunday and that means it's time for a new challenge at

Glitter 'N' Sparkle!

This week the the is

"Tag It!"

So, this simply means your project must be or include a tag!

I decided to go with this tag and I love the way it turned out.

using Vintage Pinup Girl in Sailor Outfit from SLS Lines

I colored the image with pencil colors and fussy cut.
I die cut the anchor, ships wheel and "Sea" part of the title
with Carta Bella dies. The other part of the title was stamped with a Carta Bella stamp.
The DP is also Carta Bella. The crab is a button.
My ribbons are Offray and the red doily is Recollections.

Cute As A Button June Inspiration

Hello all!

Today is my day to share my inspiration post at

Cute As A Button Inspiration Showcase!

And, since it's June I thought I would do a Wedding card project.

I used Here Comes the Bride.

I colored my image with pencils, added stickles
and then chose some solid card stock in white and shimmer pink.

Next, I cut pink and white mats to fit my 5 1/2 x 6 card base
and used some Spellbinders dies to cut 3 other layers.

I embossed the white mat.
layered the die cuts. pulled out some embellishments:
ribbon, gems, paper roses

Everything was added to the card base

and the project is complete!

I love the way it turned out!
