SSD Mother's Day

Hello all!

This week's Sassy Studio Designs' DTBST challenge

is to create a Mother's Day project!

I created a card using
Super Sassy Mom

A fairly simple card design…
I colored the image with pencil colors and fussy cut.
She was adhered to a white panel. I stamped the sentiment
and added sequin stars with jewels.

Dark 'n' Daring Challenge #1

Hello all!

I'm excited to be on the DT for a new challenge blog called

Dark 'n' Daring! 

This challenges is for creations that are

Dark, Sexy or  Goth type.

Now these are not typically the type of creations I create

but I think it's good to step out of your comfort zone

and have fun with something a little different than your norm.

This is a monthly challenge that starts on the third of the month

and the theme is always "Anything Goes" as long as it's

Dark, Sexy or Goth!

I chose to take this "daring" image and turn it a little dark
by adding a little pen work and darker colors around the eyes and lips.
I added some black tulle and a skull to the flower.

Clear Papers at HOC

Oh my!

 Can you believe another month has come & gone?

It's May 1st and that means we have a new challenge at

House of Cards!

This month we are having a supply challenge!

We would like to see your projects using "Clear Papers", in other words,

Vellum or Acetate.

Using "Kissed by an Angel" by Conie Fong

I used a K & Company acetate overlay frame on my card.

I added some K & Company layered die cut flowers,

a butterfly punched with a Fiskars punch and some gems.

I colored the image with pencil colors,
and framed it with borders punched with an EK Success punch
on the inside of the card.

Shaped Cards at Glitter 'N' Sparkle

Hello all!

Time for a new challenge at

Glitter 'N' Sparkle.

This week we would like to see "Shaped Cards".

That's right, no squares or rectangles!

Using "Pirate Girl" from our sponsor
 Ike's Art.

I created my shape with the Scalloped Frames template
from Hot Off the Press.
I colored the image with pencil colors and fussy cut.
My DP is from DCWV's  Industrial Chic Stack.
The skull and treasure chest were cut with the
Cricut Life is a Beach cartridge and I added a little bling!
The sentiment banner was cut with a tailored Expressions die.

I colored the image with pencil colors and fussy cut

before adding to my banner.

I die cut some circles and hearts,

My sentiment was stamped and fussy cut.

I added some pearls and a bow.
