Release the Glitter

Hi all!
It's time for a new challenge at

Our theme this time around is
"Release the Glitter!
Who doesn't like glitter, right?!?

We have 2 sponsors this week and
I created my card using "Bonnie of the Nile from

Our other sponsor is

I colored Bonnie with Spectrum Noir markers and Fiskars glitter gel pens.
She was fussy cut and popped with foam dots on to the
Sizzix 'Ornate Plate" die cut.  The little gold pieces in the upper corners
were left overs from the die cut. I guess you can find a use for everything!
The banners were cut with the Sizzix "Banners 2" dies.
My gold glitter paper is Recollectionsand the blue shimmer paper is DCWV.
I finished up with some blue gems.

I hope you'll join in the challenge with us.
The rest of the DT has lots of inspiration for you at
Creative Craft Cottage!
We can't wait to see your glittery makes!

Challenge #53 - Crafty Gals Corner

So it's the start of our second year at

I have loved being part of this DT since the beginning!
Thanks so much Samantha for the opportunity.
It has been and will continue to be a great experience!

Now on to what we have for you for Challenge #53.
It's "Anything Goes"!

This is what I came up with…

Using "Cupid 1" from

Our sponsor this week:

                                                  Scrapper's Delights
                                                         Etsy/Store
Prize: 3 Digital Images

Yep, I think we are all in full Valentine's mode!
At least all the stores are. Have you noticed?
As soon as the Christmas stuff came down,
the Valentine stuff went up!

Oh well, I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers
and fussy cut. There's a surprise for you - I fussy cut!!!
I think I have an obsession with fussy cutting!
My doily, DP and heart gem are from Recollections.
My hearts were cut with an old Sizzix Originals die
and my bow is made with Offray ribbon.

I hope you'll join in with us at
The DT has great inspiration for you and
we can't wait to see what YOU come up with!

Snowy the Penguin

Happy Friday & New Year's!

I wanted to do a quick post to share a card I made
with a free image I received at
Conie Fong Art & Design Group!

This is "Snowy the Penguin - Dancing in the Snow".
Isn't it just so cute? I sure think so!

I colored the image with pencils and glitter gels pens and I added
some stickles for a little sparkle. The base panel of the card was
embossed with a Darice embossing folder.
I used some paper scraps, added the button snowflakes,
gems and a Stickabilities sticker sentiment.
