HOC August 2015

It's a new month so that means a new challenge at

This time around we have a word cue for inspiration.

So lets see what comes to mind for you when you think "metallics".

For me it's metallic papers and gel pens
so this is what I came up with!

I love this "Cleopatra Portrait" image from
and knew I had to use her for this challenge.
The image just screams blue and gold metallics!
Well, in my opinion anyway!!!

I printed "Clepoatra" on white card stock, colored her with
Fiskars metallic gel pens and Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.
The gold and blue metallic card stocks are from DCWV
and my gems are from Recollections.

I hope you'll check out the inspiration from the rest
of the team all through the month and link up your own Metallic creation at

We can't wait to see what you come up with!
