the Stickabilities snowflake stickers I bought
a little while back. The DP and gems I used are from Recollections

August Progressive Challenge SSD

is hosting a new Progressive Challenge for the month of August.

This month's image is Pina Colada.

I printed the image on white card stock, colored with Spectrum Noir markers
and gel pens and fussy cut.
The glitter papers are from DCWV's Mango Frost matstack.
The greeting was computer generated.

I used the sketch from Aud Sentiments.

HOC August 2015

It's a new month so that means a new challenge at

This time around we have a word cue for inspiration.

So lets see what comes to mind for you when you think "metallics".

For me it's metallic papers and gel pens
so this is what I came up with!

I love this "Cleopatra Portrait" image from
and knew I had to use her for this challenge.
The image just screams blue and gold metallics!
Well, in my opinion anyway!!!

I printed "Clepoatra" on white card stock, colored her with
Fiskars metallic gel pens and Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.
The gold and blue metallic card stocks are from DCWV
and my gems are from Recollections.

I hope you'll check out the inspiration from the rest
of the team all through the month and link up your own Metallic creation at

We can't wait to see what you come up with!

SSD at Creative Knockouts

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the new challenge at
Creative Knockouts.

The theme is "Dry Embossing".
I used one of Lindsay's newest zodiac images for my creation.

"Cancer Portrait"

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers before fussy cutting
and popping on the embossed panel which was
created with a Darice embossing folder.
The DP and enamel dots are from Teresa Collins.
I stamped the sentiment a cut with a Taylored Expressions die.

I hope you'll check out this image and the others available in the store at
Sassy Studio Designs.
Oh, and be sure to check out the challenge at
Creative Knockouts too!

Jack the Pirate

Hey there everyone! Today I'm on the blog at
sharing a card I made using Charlene's newest stamp set.

Meet Jack!

I stamped Jack on white card stock with black ink and colored
with Spectrum Noir markers before fussy cutting.
I created the back ground with a pirate ship digital
image I found on the internet and colored with
Spectrum Noir markers. The treasure chest was also
found on the internet and colored with markers and gel pens
before fussy cutting. Jack was popped with foam dots.
I love the way it came out.
